Power Up Day

Although I do pretty much power up every day, on the 1st of each month, @traciyork and other prominent members across the network run really cool initiatives with even more wickedawesomesauce prizes to incentivise powering up (as if we needed more of one anyway)! For more information about what's available and if you qualify, check out Traci's post about it here.

I don't qualify for any of the prizes but here's a snap shot of what's currently available and the offerings have definitely gotten more hefty since Traci took over the helm - take a look at just some of what's available below (screenshot taken from Traci's post)!

My Bee Won't Be Missing "Wing Day"

At least I hope not, with the bargain basement sale of HIVE price this last week, I couldn't believe my eyes. When I bought up a load of STEEM last year (before switching completely to HIVE), the range I bought was between 9-13p per HIVE... then I saw HIVE was hovering around 8p, so I was like, "Thanks very much", 3k HIVE taken off the market and added to the "forever hodl", that won't get dumped, you're welcome. It's pretty much already been leased out or delegated - there were some 20% leases available yesterday so I grabbed those ha!

Anyway, for today, I powered up 1,114.637 HP which I'm hoping is going to give me the big bastard bee, you know, the one that doesn't miss wing day because it's so RIPPED! I can't remember what the levels were for the @hivebuzz badges though but if not, I've increased my stake by 3k HP this week at the least!

Considering I was just under 50k on the 1st of October at 49,833 HP, I've increased by about 7k HIVE and am now a fully fledged HIVE Orca! The work isn't done though - not saying I'll be getting to Whale any time soon, you need about 520k HP for that (about £47,000) which is money I certainly don't have so it will be a few years yet (unless I get any more donations from exchanges lol)!

Staking/Accumulating Hive Community Tokens

Also in October, I started investigating the Hive-Engine tokens and communities a bit more and have no intentions of selling either and as my buy orders are getting filled pretty quickly, my holdings have shot up quite nicely! So I thought I'd start a table in these HivePUD posts and track progress as well.

I've staked 27 LEO earlier today and some dribs and drabs of other tokens that popped in that I'm currently staking but I'll be assuming a start point of 0 at the beginning of October for the tribe tokens I'm currently interested in. Here's the current situation of my "main 5":

I'll continue to build the positions here I think and check out some of the other communities that I know are active and have niches that I'm interested in. Right now, mission is to get to Orca at least on these so will see how we get on next month. I tend to just set myself up to follow the curation trail of the main account to add some support for the manual curators as well so that adds to stake and delegating to those accounts to earn in that token, it all adds up!
