Applying Hivebuzz Ranks To Bitcoin & Ethereum - Where Do You Stand?
More Calculations
I've been having a bit of fun over the last few days running some calculations with Hive-Engine tokens and how much you need to get to the various ranks from redfish, minnow, dolphin, orca and whale. So I thought I'd apply this to the two biggest coins by market cap currently - the granddaddy Bitcoin and Ethereum. I think it's safe to say, a lot of us here will not even be redfish LOL! See where you stand in the tables below!
Bitcoin
The current circulating supply according to my Blockfolio at time of writing is 18,532,000 BTC (out of a maximum of 21,000,000 of course) so this is how much you'd need:
Hivebuzz Rank | Bitcoin Needed |
---|---|
Redfish | 2.35 BTC |
Minnow | 23.35 BTC |
Dolphin | 233.5 BTC |
Orca | 2,335 BTC |
Whale | 23,350 BTC |
Stacking Sats
After splashing out a bit on HIVE the last week with the bargain basement prices and chipping away at the Orca goals for some of the tokens I'm interested in like LEO daily, I'm going to look in to set up a daily micro purchase automatically through Luno after speaking to @chekohler earlier today.
This will hopefully add some to the pot over time and won't have to worry too much about daily fluctuations. At the moment, I have a weekly contribution going on but you know how it is in crypto, 1 week is basically 10 human years and a lot can happen in that time.
With trying out Celsius and seeing BlockFi mentioned on the latest roundtable from @khaleelkazi, I'm hoping to make a little bit of the sats I hold work for me even more. I'd highly recommend watching that video by the way, some great discussions going on and found my mind exploding with the information given in there - just hoping that something sticks via osmosis haha!
Ethereum
Here's the rankings for the 2nd biggest coin by marketcap, Ethereum with a current circulating supply of 113,260,000 ETH:
Hivebuzz Rank | Ethereum Needed |
---|---|
Redfish | 14.358 ETH |
Minnow | 143.58 ETH |
Dolphin | 1,435.8 ETH |
Orca | 14,358 ETH |
Whale | 143,580 ETH |
If I remember rightly, you need about 35 ETH to stake when they move to their new staking protocol (if it's not happened already, I don't really follow ETH, I just know it's expensive to send ETH across wallet addresses)! So I'll need to get 35 ETH somehow and at £300 per pop... yeah keep working your day job Nicky haha!
Whats your Strat-Stack-Sats (strategy to stack sats)? Do you dabble with Ethereum? Let me know in the comments below!
Take care
Nicky
