HIVE Power Up Day Is Coming - Are You Ready?

The phenom that is @traciyork has started the warm-up to HivePUD aka, Hive Power Up Day, where every one with a Hive account is encouraged to stake or power-up their HIVE tokens on the 1st of each month. This is a fun initiative that has been growing in size, popularity and prize structure since Traci took over the helm and shows no sign of stopping!

I know some are like "isn't every day power up day?" and you are also right, the benefits of staking can be realised any time but if you're eligible to enter HivePUD, then you can get some pretty amazing prizes that will supercharge your account. There's sponsorship from @hivebuzz, various witnesses and whales and of course, it's a great way to spread more positive vibes about the place. Here's the criteria from Traci's post:

  • Your reputation must be above 39 and below 70.
  • Your total Hive Power (before the 1st) must be more than 100 and less than 8000.
  • You must power up at least 10 Hive on March 1st.
  • You must write a post about your power up on March 1st with the tag #hivepud (International) or #hpud (Spanish).

Although I don't meet the criteria for the amazing prizes below, I'm still a sucker for the badges that @hivebuzz have created. so I'll be powering up what I can on the 1st! If you meet the criteria then the prizes on offer are well worth salivating over - here's a screen grab of some of the top prizes on offer:

Don't forget that there's also an airdrop coming with 3Speak in the coming months based on your Hive Power so well worth having some extra for when that happens.

Other Tokens

There are of course a vast array of other tokens and communities across Hive-Engine that may be running their own "PUD" initiatives so I'll be having a little look at what's available there too. We have the LeoFinance airdrop coming in the next couple of weeks and CTP are running regular staking contests along with LOTUS, SPORTS, HUSTLER... there's so much going on, more than you can shake a stick at (or stake at lol)!
