Unbelievable but true, the coronavirus has hit the beer companies irreparably ... Some of them will not reopen because the damage done by the coronavirus is irreversible.

For me personally on all the trips I have made to Germany and draft beer has always been my first preference !!!

What worries me is that other companies and jobs will be affected.

And it seems that the state did not help these companies either, since according to a survey of the Brewers' Union, only 16% of the breweries characterized the state support as sufficient.

And I wonder finally is there any state that actually helped its citizens in this coronavirus crisis?

In the first half of the year, companies sold 4.3 billion liters of beer, or almost 300 million liters less than the corresponding period of the already weak last year. This is the lowest beer consumption since the introduction of the current statistical method in 1993, as announced today by the Federal Statistical Office, which is based in Wiesbaden.

During the months of April (-17.3%) and May (-13%), sales were comparatively lower than in 2019.

it seems that the world after coronavirus will be very different around the world. Have to wait and see where it goes from here…
