I don't know about you but I get the feeling that they are hiding something from us on this global warming, coal and fossil energy issue. Let's see, I find it very suspicious that politicians, those beings used to lie and screw our lives suddenly behave as the protectors of the planet, especially since we know that their pulse is not trembling when it comes to making decisions to destroy our big blue sphere.

Yes, obviously there are scientists (and Leonardo Dicaprio) who expose with "convincing" evidence the effects of fossil fuels and coal on the climate, accusing our uncontrolled way of consuming these supposedly non-renewable resources, however also these reports, actors and of course our "friends" the politicians are manipulated by the crazy psychopaths we usually call elites, a small select group of very rich and powerful people who own basically everything.

With the war in Ukraine and the global disruption caused by the COVID-19 virus quarantine, the inability of the "green" proposal to make itself as an alternative to dinosaur juice and its derivatives became evident. Then came the declarations of politicians blaming Russia for all the ills and then warning us that if we want to reduce the price of hydrocarbons we must change our consumption patterns.

Evidently the proposal to comply with the 2030 Agenda will be to penalize consumption that they consider excessive, on the other hand this is their way of combating Bitcoin, public enemy #1 of the fiat model. The last few years have served to justify this position against BTC through its alleged high energy consumption, especially in terms of its mining.

Is BTC really an "enemy of the planet" and an agent of climate change? Most BTC miners run on hydroelectric and solar power, and compared to fiat money their consumption is a fraction of what the current model actually spends. For example, paper money is only a fraction of the fiat world, yet it requires thousands of tons of raw materials such as wood and cotton; it also requires millions of liters of water, ink and gasoline for transportation, in addition to salaries, surveillance, vaults, banks, in short, any amount of energy expenditure that seems not to end.

Evidently after this campaign against BTC the next step will be to prohibit mining or make it very expensive, something that in the end does not seem very viable although it could have an impact on the possession of this cryptocurrency. And that is where I think the strategy against this and all decentralized cryptocurrencies is going: to discourage the use of these in order not to stand in the way of the digital version of fiat.

In my opinion there is nothing more untrustworthy than a centralized blockchain, much worse if it is a State that imposes it, in such sense the only really useful instrument to protect us from the madness that governs us is undoubtedly the BTC and decentralized cryptocurrencies, therefore, not falling into the trap of the elites around their energy lies will be our best way to overcome the crises that they themselves impose on us.
