Could Hive become a good alternative as a commercial payment cryptocurrency?

In recent days I have been analyzing some cryptocurrency projects that enjoy some popularity among lovers of digital currencies, certainly this initiative has helped me to understand the mechanics of some altcoins, which as a common factor the vast majority work on the basis of speed at lower cost in transactions. Indeed, regardless of the technology they use, the type of platform or the purpose for which they were developed, they all seek essentially the same thing: almost instantaneous transactions.

Looking at each of these projects in detail, I realized that there is a blockchain with the best transfer speed and that is undoubtedly offered by Hive's platform. Yes, I understand that our platform works in terms of content monetization and that it only has a couple of years of history, but it has become so big in such a short time that it seems natural to think of a future where with the support of the entire ecosystem we can involve this space in the world of commercial payments.

I was just thinking about this idea when I was talking about my friend Derman, his tomato crop and how he is slowly overcoming the crisis with cryptocurrencies. Someone commented to me if I had introduced Derman to our social network Hive and how good it would be for him to use both the cryptocurrency and the tokens that make up its ecosystem. But my friend is more a man of the field than a man of letters or sharing things through social networks, content monetization is not for him, however, the fact that transactions in Hive are so fast and without commissions would be very useful in his aspirations.

In my case I always dedicate one day a week to make my purchases with cryptocurrencies, I use Litcoin, Dash and other stablecoins that I acquire by exchanging the product of my results in our social network for the digital currencies mentioned above, which undoubtedly make my life much easier, however I always think about that day that I do not have to get other currencies for my business transactions but directly with Hives go to my favorite supermarket and when the cashier tells me how to pay I point on your screen very proud of the red exagon.

Of course, obviously the use of Hive is not intended for this purpose, although I think that its developers will be tempted at some point to try to test this alternative, generating wallets that can be installed as an application on the smartphone. On the other hand here in Latin America Hive has become a true ally against poverty, although it is still little known more and more people are joining this free and decentralized space to monetize content and generate money, perhaps it would be a good idea to generate some kind of software that allows the use of cryptocurrency (and why not its tokens) as commercial payment currencies. Surely the future will bring us that.
