LEO and Hive tokens: more valuable than all Latin American fiat currencies.

I recently wrote in this social network about how what I have accumulated in LEO token on average the last 3 months exceeds the value of the monthly minimum wage in most Latin American countries, a situation that has allowed me to maintain relative comfort in the midst of the despair and anguish that surrounds me. But today I would like to specify this topic a little more, as a practical way to demonstrate the superiority of cryptocurrencies, especially of some relevant tokens in the Hive ecosystem over most of the monetary units of the American continent, from Mexico to Argentina through some Caribbean islands.

Happily I have read with great interest how some members of the community share their achievements through the monetization of content in Hive, Leofinance and other tribes of this social network, accumulating significant gains in various tokens that allow them to face the high cost of living with the hope and dignity they deserve as human beings. On average many here have already reached and surpassed the amount of 1,000 LEO, certainly it is a figure that holds an important value in dollars (+/- US$ 921), so to get an idea of what this means let's see those same 1,000 in local currencies and how much they are equivalent in dollars.

As of today, April 08, 2021, according to the website XE, 1,000 units of local currencies in Latin America are equivalent in dollars to the following figures:

  • Guatemala: 129.73
  • El Salvador: 114.28
  • Mexico: 49.78

  • Cuba: (CUC= 1,000 / CUP= 41.4)
  • Nicaragua: 28.67
  • Uruguay: 22.7
  • Dominican Republic: 17.6
  • Haiti: 12.41
  • Argentina: 10.82
  • Costa Rica: 1.63
  • Chile: 1.41
  • Colombia: 0.27
  • Paraguay: 0.15
  • Venezuela: 0.00000000474

Looking at the data, it is obvious that the monetization of content on the Leofinace platform is presented as a high-value job anywhere in Latin America, since the LEO token is almost at the same level of the US currency, representing a very important ally for most of the citizens of these countries. Dedicating part-time or full-time to this activity is a real opportunity not only to increase income but also to create a job whose remuneration depends on yourself as well as being valued in a currency as strong as the dollar.

But not everyone in Hive feel vocation to share ideas in the economic area, for fortune of many in Hive there are hundreds of tokens dedicated to various topics, many of them exceed in value to Latin American fiat currencies, so they are an important monetary force for the income of the person dedicated to contribute part of their time to create content in our social network. As a sample, I will present the same approach as above, this time with 1,000 units of Hive community tokens (not all of them, just the ones I have seen in my wallet and LeoDEX), and their value in US dollars, understanding that 1 Hive is equivalent to US$ 0.608 at the time of writing this publication:

The possibilities of earning money by expressing our opinion in a free, accurate and quality way is a reason for many good content creators in the region to assume this activity to overcome the eternal crisis that has always characterized these countries, on the other hand this is the best way to enter the world of cryptocurrencies without representing a large investment using their local currencies, only requires talent for communication and internet connection, the rest is up to us, the Hive /Leofinance community.
