Comprehensive prevention

Recently a member of this community stated that what attracted him to Hive and its ecosystem is the concept of content monetization, which from his perspective raises the possibility of generating revenue by exposing ideas not only in Hive but also in POB and Leofinance mainly. His problem lies in the fact that he does not have the vocation to express himself using these modern methods, he even defined himself as a "Boomer" (generation born after World War II) so this process of change that the world is going through, especially since the arrival of cryptocurrencies has generated great stress for him because he feels that everything he has learned previously is becoming useless and obsolete.

He literally said: "The last two decades of my life have been a continuous process of unlearning everything I was taught", words that made an impact on me because I was also in his position and I had to assume a new scheme of planning my life towards the future by cutting with the processes learned in the past. I do not deny it, it is very scary to leave your comfort zone, largely because there you feel you have the ability to emerge with the tools you have, that is, the knowledge acquired since you were born until today, but you realize that these ideas no longer have space in an increasingly technological and automated world, then you must make a decision: do nothing or adapt to the new times.

The fear of not knowing how to integrate into this new process is something natural, it happens in almost all generations. In particular, when I felt that I could not get away from the spiral of crisis that transformed my life and that almost everything I had learned was of little or no use to change this process, I was afraid, but not of change but of remaining static without doing anything, at least without trying. Before learning about content monetization, I lived in function of working very hard to make my dream come true: my own business, but I saw it so far away, almost like a utopia as the fiat world in which I grew up (and which I considered the only possible alternative) collapses and the tools with which I thought I could get out of the rubble no longer work.

But I have a family, especially a son who needs me and counts on me, I could not choose to stagnate and keep doing the same thing over and over again waiting for a change, although I had already discovered cryptocurrencies through Bitcoin the process of improving economically through the accumulation of this digital currency is slow for me, plus it also depends on fiat currencies. Instead content monetization raises the possibility of generating income through economic compensation with an independent cryptocurrency , easily convertible and that it is not necessary to acquire it through the purchase with fiat money.

To take on this new professional role that I now exercise I had to understand that although the road traveled brings with it valuable experience it was also necessary to get rid of much of that knowledge that obsolete that was once useful but now useless. Step by step I learned to write in this social network, to communicate my ideas in order to offer quality content based on a continuous process of updating both professionally and personally, a situation that from my perspective is achieved with practice and observing the criteria that most curators recognize to give their votes.

The new economic and social reality of the world poses a series of challenges for humanity, which can only be overcome by introspectively recognizing one's own intellectual deficiencies in order to replace them with others that will help us overcome the evident collapse of the old world order. No matter what age you are, your social condition or your nationality, crises cannot be overcome with old and worn out ideas, that is a law of life.
