What to build when the land is flooding?

I recently watched a documentary about the island of Kiribati, a small island state in the middle of the Pacific Ocean whose population lives under the threat of being swallowed by the sea. Every day, salt water replaces the soil, limiting the space to build, knowing that the house or building on the island will inevitably meet a watery fate.

The people of Kiribati are torn between staying on the island or leaving it for good, as the mainland continues to lose space to the ocean and the possibly inevitable fate as a fish condo. Curiously enough, this case is so similar to the Fiat world, which like the small island in the documentary is being flooded with debt, inflation, inequality, hunger and poverty, and there are still people who believe it is possible to save it, while others believe it is time to migrate.

It is not easy to abandon a belief that was inoculated into us from the first moment we were born, but really the Ponzi scheme we were forced to stay in can no longer be sustained. Today it is impossible to sustain pensions like those of our parents and grandparents, buying a home is a privilege of the few while the vast majority of us simply work to survive, pay our efforts so that retirees can collect their money and inherit the debts to our children and grandchildren.

Countries are increasingly indebted with worthless colored paper, therefore they require our work and effort to maintain this swindle through taxes, as if we were still living under the feudal era. The fact is that countries (well, our beloved rulers) spend more than they bring into the public coffers, so they demand more taxes from us to pay the interest on a debt that never stops growing, meanwhile ruin follows us like a pack of hungry dogs as long as we continue to believe that continuing to feed the fiat system is the only solution we have left.

Fortunately there are many of us who decided to stop building on flooded land, we decided to take off our bandages and build a financial future based on blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and decentralization which from my point of view is the most efficient way to ensure not only our economic welfare but also our existence in a world that collapses at our feet.

Unfortunately many people refuse to abandon the fiat model because despite living in the information age they are unaware that there are other alternatives such as Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. The fear of change is evident in people of generations like mine and previous ones but I must tell you something: the world in which we were formed no longer exists, to be tied to the idea of returning to the past is the worst survival strategy you can apply therefore, to continue feeding the Fiat cancer is equal to die in a very cruel way, under the illusion of acquiring things that you have not yet finished paying for and that at any moment you will lose.

No, I don't want you to think that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are the solution to become a millionaire and live like kings, but think that the more you use these means that guarantee you freedom in all aspects of your life, the farther you will be from being fed by banks and debts and the closer you will be to your dreams and the world you really want for you and your children. You decide.
