Hi guyssss... Hope we're holding up.

This post is basically about my thoughts regarding Cryptocurrency and blockchain.

When Cryptocurrency started making waves round the world, I didn’t have any interest whatsoever which is so unlike me because I'm always eager to learn new things, especially before every other person.

Crypto was a different case though. Years have passed and a lot of developments have popped up on the Internet. Programming is growing really wide. There are several tokens everywhere with different investment plans and promises of returns on investment.

There are just a lot of them.
Somewhere along the line, I picked interest and since then I've done quite a number of research as well. However, it just seems like the world of crypto is never ending. There's new trend everyday and to keep up, one just has to really be consistent.

I didn't have the means to acquire tokens and invest so there was nothing that motivated me to keep up.

So, it has been on and off.

The way a lot of people get engaged with the crypto world is quite thrilling though. Interests keep growing and some of my friends say; "crypto is the way", "crypto is the place to be".. and all of that. Honestly though, why should people be so dependent on tokens? It baffles me really. I don't see myself investing more than I'm willing to lose. Call me weak but at least I'll have my peace of mind when the "brave" ones start crying😢

Fast forward to about a week ago, the market spiraled down and a lot of tokens were affected, Hive inclusive. I didn't panic at first because well, I didn't have any token investment anywhere asides Hive. I was also hoping that the come back would only take latest 24 to 48 hours.

I was wrong!

Despite trying to overlook things and be as active as I always have, I still find that the devaluation has affected my motivation to keep up.

This is really bad for me because being active here on Hive is really important to me, my growth and my account's growth.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one being affected in this way by the market hit but I don't intend to stay demotivated for long.

There's a lot of quality here and as long as I'm getting that from all the great minds here, nothing should demotivate me really.

What about you? How has it been at your end?

I would really love to know what you think in the comment section.

Thanks so much for reading through!

See you in the next post!
