Ever since I started taking engagement seriously I have seen my account grow significantly both in terms of reward and engagement. It is, far by, the easiest way to gain visibility on the hive blockchain/Leo community.

When people complain about the lack of visibility on the blockchain and my response is simple: **you are not engaging enough*. Now you might be a great writer but no one really cares about what you write.

You do not have control over how people perceive your content. I think I am a good writer but it doesn't always reflect on the engagement on my post.

So it is either I am lying to myself by assuming that my content pops when in fact it doesn't or people just don't care about what I have to say. Whatever the case might be, I can live with it.

However, what I do know and can guarantee that people will not ignore, no matter how disapproving they might be about you or your content, is **feedback*. Everyone wants (positive) feedback. It is a clear indicator that their ideas/thoughts were convened properly.

The easiest way to get people's attention (yes, we are operating an attention economy) is to comment on their post (well except they hate you or you're on their blacklist). I have had meaningful discussions with whales via the comment section of their post. So this is a powerful tool to use.

Now onto the @taskmaster4450le part of this post. As you all know, taskmaster happens to be one of the major players in the leocommunity. Asides from being a big stakeholder, he spends a huge chunk of his time engaging with other community members.

If you check the Leo engagement league last report you will see that he made a whopping 822 comments! That's engagement on steroids!

I managed to make 90 comments last week and I was still able to rank amongst the top 20 but not anywhere close to @taskmaster4450le. *So how does he do this?

Well, there are some perks of being a top stakeholder. One of them is that most people tend to listen to you and are willing to give you meaningful feedback. @taskmaster4450le uses this to his advantage.

Asides from his posts, @taskmaster4450le spends a lot of time engaging with other content creators via their posts. And this is the secret:** he doesn't just engage with the post alone. He responds to comments! (on other people's post)*

By engaging in the comment section with other commenters @taskmaster4450le can foster rapport quickly and organically. When you consider this, you understand how making over 800 comments in a week can be very easy.

Asides from wanting to do crazy numbers like @taskmaster4450le you might also want to enjoy the process. Comment on things you enjoy or things you're curious about. This keeps the exchange organic.

So why not put this theory to test this week? Engage with the posts you consume and the comments on them as well. You will find this very interesting as there are varying viewpoints on the subject of the post that you can discuss with other community members.

Well, I hope you found this post insightful. Cheers!
