MONETIZING EVERYTHING
Many of us here are familiar with the Kardashian family and how they've built their wealth around people's attention. 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' is a popular reality show on E! Which grossed millions of dollars yearly.
It is reported that Kylie Jenner earns close to $4.5m per season. She isn't offering a product or a service. The young billion simply live her life on live television and she is making a fortune because people are willing to consume her content.
Now, I might not be able to monetize my time and life the way Kardashians do but I am sure I can squeeze out a couple of dollars here and there from my activities. This is led me to think strategically about how my activities can finance my lifestyle (which is very mundane, I must confess)
When I discovered I could create content and earn, I jumped on it. It's been close to 3years now and I have never looked back or regretted it. I dare say it is the best decision of my life so far.
Now I am monetizing my social activities by engaging on the hive blockchain. I spend most of my time on my phone (like most adults these days), however, I make sure my time is converted into currency (no matter how little).
The same goes for my other activities. If I visit a nice place and spend some money, I want to make money from it too by talking about it. If I play video games I want to vlog about it. If I watch a video I want to write a review about it. I want to monetize my entire existence.
It isn't just about money alone but also the fact that there is value in everything. Many people fail to realize this and it is sad to watch how they trade their time for pleasure alone.
Asides hive the only social platform I use quite frequently these days are TikTok and YouTube and mainly for information. I watch self-help videos on TikTok daily; I watch tutorials on YouTube. All these activities help me become more productive and increase my likelihood of earning.
EVERYTHING IS CONTENT
There is a lady on Twitter who is popular for eating a stupendous amount of food. As silly as that sounds she has a sizable following and some endorsement deals.
This is why I find it strange when people complain about lacking content. There are a million and one things to write every day. If not from your personal life then the world around you.
You can monetize anything. The major challenge is having a sizable following, and the only way to do that is by building relationships.
In conclusion, we live in a world of endless opportunities, especially within the digital space. You can monetize your times, life, even your addiction if you spot the right market. Build validate relationships as you progress as they would come in handy sometime in the future.
