The crypto world outside hive.

I have been part of the hive ecosystem since its inception about a year ago. Virtually everything I know about crypto I have learnt from here through social engagement. I have managed to capitalize on certain opportunities thanks to the information I receive here. It can be likened to having inside knowledge.

The first time I heard about uniswap was on hive. I was looking for a means to trade my hunt token then. It was around $5 I think. Someone suggested I try uniswap which I did. About a year later I got an airdrop because of that one transaction. That solved my debt problem completely.

Also on hive I enjoy being part of a robust ecosystem with various dapps. I can talk about finance on leofinance, play different hive games like splinterland, rabona, etc, I can also vlog and stake. It is a complete ecosystem, something similar to that of Apple, but unlike apple it is decentralized.

I have not had any need to venture outside the hive ecosystem, and I have looked at other crypto products with a lot of indifference. There is no real incentive to venture outside asides profits. Plus, a lot is going on here to keep me occupied.

So why venture out now?

Well asides from my goal of becoming a millionaire, I do want to try something new and bring value into the hive ecosystem whilst diversifying my crypto portfolio.

One way I can do this is by day-trading. I have said various times before that I dread playing this speculative game. It is the most rewarding and devastating thing you can venture into.

So I don't get the job I applied for this month, I will spend some time learning TA next month. It is quite embarrassing not being able to read charts for someone who claims to be enthusiastic about crypto. I think some basic knowledge about TA will help improve my knowledge about crypto and I can engage in conversations relating to such.

It is amazing seeing how much I have evolved over the years given my involvement in crypto. Asides from the monetary gains I have amassed a lot of knowledge that has impacted my life positively. And the trend continues.
