A big hiccup in tournaments, a delayed season end, nothing went as expected this time around!
Apologies for the slight delay by the way: I'm on holiday, so a bit slower than usual :).

Overall I was stuck at place #52 when the original season end passed... but thanks to the one-day delay I still managed to work myself into the Top 50!
The tournaments were a mess though, mainly because there was a sizable gap in tournaments due to this season :). I'm happy with the win rate though!

I've been using Malric Inferno more again, with mixed results. However, using Byzantine Kitty instead of Yodin Zaku seems to lead to good results in high mana battles. I'm more mixed with the Llama, and often manage to make great lineups, but not as great as my opponent ;).

A lot of familiar names here, though I've been less effective with Tortisian Chief than normal. Arguably the Earth Elemental is relatively high here, as I've been trying to use it more as a tank these days :D.
Lastly, I'm clearly klutzing around with the Cube and the Elven Defender. Not sure what I'm doing wrong there!

I did really well with Reverse Speed, but poorly with Rise of the Commons. Especially the Death splinter is nice with Reverse Speed, as the Bone Golem / Gorlodon combo works well to absorb those magic decks, while also mitigating against thorny Living Lavas, due to the Golem's Repair ability.

I've been letting some Gold cards and legendaries, and that is now bringing in some DEC. 2k is a good start, let's see how it will change in the coming seasons!

I've been staking about 30-50% of my SPS airdrop, and putting most of the rest on CubDefi. I expect to be staking more as the requirements and benefits for SPS staking become clearer over time :).
Overall, the season was chaotic to say the least, but that is not a surprise at all given the massive growth of Splinterlands to 300k players and 100k spellbooks. I am lucky to have found the game over a year ago, and to be enjoying it since. I expect that competing in the top ranks will become MUCH MUCH harder with so many emerging players. But let's see how long I can hold out in the Champions League! :)
