Hello guys!

Trust we are all great? We are going to be looking at some sweet points today in this blog of mine.

According to the topic, we are going to be focusing majorly on what I've discovered so far in my journey on hive, how they've been helpful to me and also how they might impact your life.

Like I do say, Hive has been a platform of wonders not for only me, but for other hivians like me too. I really have gone through ups and downs in hive which has opened my eyes to certain discoveries.

When I said I've gone through ups and downs in hive, what then am I to say about @starstrings01? A man that has been so so enduring on hive and has had a lot of experience. I hope he comes through to share some of his discoveries in the comment session.

MY MAJOR DISCOVERIES ON HIVE

I have come to know that You can't go far on hive without

A. Genuine engagement :

I know someone there will be like what do I mean by genuine engagement? For our information, there's difference between engagement and genuine engagement.

Many people engage on hive, but not all genuinely engage. Let me give you a clear example. As far as I'm concerned, comments like

• Nice • Good one • lovely

Are mere engagement because it can't drive continuous conversation between you and the other hivian you are interacting with.

Imagine a comment like this...

• Hey pal, I went through your post and I came across some important facts there. I will like to give my opinion concerning this blog.. true love is essential to man's life as it heals and .....
And you continue with something like: I like your thumbnail, how did you design it?

Imagine that engagement, that will stir a drive on the side of the other hivian leaving a notion to him/her that you want to know more about him/her.
This is how making friends starts. Many of us have made our friends list stagnant because of poor engagement!

B. Quality Thumbnail :

So far, I've come to notice that the charm that attracts people to your content is your Thumbnail. Thumbnail means your cover photo. I've come across posts of some people that don't really know that having a nice thumbnail is really helpful on hive, and I've done my best dropping a comment for them to know their thumbnail have a long way to go.

Imagine a music video with a thumbnail of you without the musical instruments that you used in the video! How is that thumbnail going to send a message that this is a musical post? I've came across posts of great hivians like @starstrings01, @mipiano, @ksam, @josediccus, @musicandreview and so on and I discovered that they don't joke with their thumbnails.

Your thumbnail speaks a lot about your post before anyone will click on them! I use canva to design my thumbnails. I recommend it.

C. Quality contents:

How do your content get that score of being a quality content? Make sure your write up is well arranged and well detailed.

If you are a content creator, use landscape mode in recording your videos. Edit them with nice video editing apps like inshot, capcut, canva and so on.

Use a clearer camera for recording of your video under bright light! I guess this should help.

D. Learning :

Learning never stops in life, no Matter what you know, always be open to corrections. I have gotten a lot of corrections even from musicians like me on how to go about my music videos so as to attract viewers.

Recently, @ablaze, @eugelys brought my attention to how long my introductions of my videos are and I must really say that I appreciated that correction because it has really helped me and made me know certain things I needed.

So, I got to know that in making a music video, the introduction mustn't be too long or else, I'll bore the viewers and they might just give up on my post.

HOW THESE DISCOVERIES HAVE BEEN HELPFUL

These discoveries have made me a stronger person on hive.

These discoveries have helped gather new family on hive, new friends and new ideas which has been helpful to me. I thought I shouldn't enjoy this discoveries alone, that's why I thought to share!!!
