The Gun

While the world continues on being obsessed with the virus, a more dangerous threat is sitting in the corner waiting to emerge and conquer what is left of fiat-based monetary policies.

The global financial industry is being compromised as we speak.

In an attempt to bail out the economy, or what's left of it, Federal reserves continue on printing money like there's no tomorrow. Yea sure, that seems likely to be sustainable.

Who's buying that shit though?

Not to even mention the idea of an inclusive economy propagated by the same people who fucked us up in the first place. It's like handing a gun to a man who already wanted you dead - Makes absolutely no sense.

A seemingly never-ending fight against the unfair system has come to a point where there are no other measures to be taken to bail out the fundamentally broken economy. Sadly enough, the virus itself won't help in terms of sustaining the unsustainable, but it may help in exposing the cancer of our society. The root of the malignant system, set in a way to benefit the minority on the back of the majority.

35% of all US Dollars have been printed this year.

The time has come, the time in which we take the rudder and lead the way towards building a fully transparent and decentralized economy, showing how powerful we truly are.

As these financial markets fall apart, and crypto itself swings around wildly, remember why we are doing this. Remember why crypto exists in the first place. We don’t know the extent of this calamity ahead, but the tools we’re building can help humanity on the other side.

Staying true towards intrinsic values humanity so desperately needs is the noblest thing to do, and we shouldn't give up on that.

Bitcoin is the most powerful leverage we have against a rotten and fundamentally broken system. It represents sovereignty and financial independence, it embodies the revolt against most vicious humans/organizations out there.

HIVE

Just Like Bitcoin, Hive has that intrinsic value as it executes our thoughts, attitudes, and freedom of speech exactly how we want it to. Given that freedom of speech is a constitutional right, having a decentralized tool to back it up is fucking powerfull. Even though it seems unintuitive to continue on with the hype about an asset that lost 70% of its value, I still believe we are on the verge of exploding.

And while the era of steem had bad timing, poor execution, and bad guidance, consequently ending up with a hard-fork, Hive has the chance to make things right.

That's huge leverage.

We learned a lot from that experience, not only regarding possible attack vectors no one thought of before (CEX intervention) but also gained a good reputation as the community who made its best to fight the centralization. It's not something to forget, most projects out there would prioritize accepting more lucrative deals than retaining integrity.

It's not something we should take for granted, not to even mention that our top stakeholders and builders ended up with a frozen stake.

So this is our common way of telling us we are done with that shit, we can build whatever we want in a permissionless way.

Fun times.
