Another very strange holiday .... Are you already a Millionaire ?
Well lately here in Canada many people are Millionaires.... On paper.
The TSX Stock Market and many Mutual Funds have been steadily climbing since the last Stock Market crash of 2008/09
Real Estate Prices alone have tripled.
A house you bought in 2008 for $300,000 is now worth over $1 Million here in Ontario.
If you worked hard to pay off your Mortgage over the past 8 years your Net Worth would be well over $1 Million dollars.
Many people’s Retirement Accounts (RRSPs) have quadrupled .... and if you bought 1000 shares of Shopify IPO 6 years ago at $18 (now $1,400) you would now have $1.4 Million dollars.
So... if you had a Million liquid dollars today what would you buy ?
25 Bitcoin ? Something else? Maybe 1 Million POBs ....
When you think of being a millionaire, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind?
It could be the ability to buy whatever you want, travel the world, practice philanthropy on a grand scale, or just eliminating debt. Whatever your personal dreams may be, let’s all celebrate National Be a Millionaire Day on May 20, by doing at least one thing that makes us feel like a million.....
