It is a sunny afternoon over here and the heat is really high, coming from a country where there is a constant absence of power supply does not come easy at all, coping with the extremely hot weather means you will need to get a set of generator to power your home or office at this time.

You know I like to keep you updated about the happenings around my business and today is no exemption but before then, about my sales representative’s health I wrote about last week, I am so glad for the amazing response that I received and I am glad to announce that he is doing much better now, according to the advice I got from this platform I gave him some time off work to rest and then I checked up on him regularly with gifts but I did not pay the hospital bills, I allowed the family handle that responsibility.

Sometime last week, I was caught up in the middle of making a very drastic decision for my business and I was a little bit confused about what to do, my store rent was due for payment and the landlord was lenient enough to give me some extra days to pay up, but at the same time I had to place orders for certain goods that was highly required. It was a serious decision to make, the cash I had on me could only fulfil one purpose at a time so I had to choose between paying off my debt and satisfying the customers I had promised.

With the due rent, I knew it was possible for anything embarrassing to happen and so I decided to weigh my options properly and make a fast decision on which one was going to be favourable. Considering the two options clearly, the rent was a debt which had to be cleared as soon as I can because asides from the fact that the property owner could take any drastic action which may end up becoming embarrassing, I have to also consider the fact the property owner depends on the rental for survival so I choose to clear up the rent first and hold on a little bit on buying more items to sell.

Paying up the rent made me feel highly relieved and confident, I was no longer scared of any form of embarrassment coming from the property owner and with proper plans in place, I should get the items needed for customer consumption by next week.

What do you have to say about this, do you think I made the right decision or if you were in my shoes would you have made a different decision? Let me know what your opinion is in the comment section below.
