Hello friends, I trust you are doing great today and you are keeping up with your plans and goals for this new week and month. At the beginning of this month, I had plans to get up earlier and make sure that I do not miss my blogging activities on this platform but offline activities have been highly demanding these days, I know that there is certainly no excuse for failing to do the things I am supposed to do at the right time and I am definitely going to make amends but I cannot but tell you a few things about the happening’s in my country that has made keeping up with targets extremely difficult.

Since covid-19 lockdown was eased and people were allowed to go about their daily activities normally, the banking system in my country has changed seriously, it became highly difficult to get into banking premises, the banking halls became highly crowded and the security men at the gate became high chiefs, it became a game of having connection with someone before getting into the bank.

It became a normal thing to get to the bank at the early hours of the morning and remain there like a jobless person for hours, just before you ask me about the other available channels for communicating with the bank instead of going there, that is highly available in my country but also highly frustrating, take a look at this instance: I was having some bank issues and I decided to call my bank instead of going to wait on the queue for a long time, I recharged 2,000 naira worth of call card which is currently $5.18 which I believed should be more than enough to get complete response from any sane bank, but to my disappointment and shock, every penny of the airtime was completely wipped out even before the call was picked.

By now I am sure you understand my plight, the calls to bank are supposed to be free right, but in my country the moment you dial the bank’s number your call credit is being deducted and you will not receive any response until when they feel you have spent enough time listening to some rubbish advertisement about the bank, since I currently run a POS business, I need to visit the bank every day and I spend a lot of time trying to get the attention of the bankers who should attend to me. Enough of talking about my plight, let me quickly share some of the things I have learnt to do in order to get the best out of every day with you.

New rules for personal self-improvement.

No more will I switch off my alarm when it tries to wake me up in the morning, this bad habit of waking up late every morning is one of the reasons why the day appears unproductive at the long run. For two weeks now it seems I have lost that part of me that wakes up early and I am willing to find it back.

While I wait for my turn at the bank, I could run little profitable activities with my phone, I like to feel relaxed before working and in order to feel relaxed I have to get back home from the bank and by that time I might be too tired to lift a finger.

If possible, I will get someone I could pay to help with some domestic activities while I focus on activities that will add more profit to my pocket.

N.B Every image was taken with my mobile phone, thanks a lot for reading I am @oluwatobiloba.
