If you’re reading this, I want to believe you’ve seen this video BUSINESS 101: What Is Dropshipping?. I also made this video Dropshipping: How Do You Find The Best Supplier For Your Business? . If you haven’t, I strongly suggest that you do so before proceeding with this piece.

In the previous videos, I spoke extensively about dropshipping and finding suppliers for your dropshipping business. For every pro, there is a con. Today, though, I'd want to discuss at least three advantages of dropshipping.

Nothing Goes Bad In Your Hands

Nevertheless, this may vary depending on the type of drop shipper you are. This is advantageous if you are like me, who operates as a middleman between my suppliers and my customers.

As a drop shipper, you are not required to buy in bulk like a wholesaler. You also do not require a storage area because you sell exclusively by client order. In other words, the only time you pay your provider is when. In other words, the only time you pay money to your supplier is when a customer places an order in your store.

You never have to be concerned about your things going bad. In this instance, there are no losses at all. There are no such things as leftovers. Leftover stocks, in my opinion, are another avenue through which business owners lose money or gain significantly less than they should because they become eager for a means to sell off, to the point of reducing prices in the form of SALES.

You Don't Need Much To Get Started.

When I first started my dropshipping business, all I had was my phone and the contact information for my suppliers. I didn't have to put money into it. I didn't have to spend money on it since I utilized social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook to sell my items.

You do not need to start soliciting funds to purchase your item in bulk. You also do not require storage space because your business is primarily conducted online.

Regardless, having a physical store is entirely based on the type of dropshipping you do. If you want to manage your own shipping and packaging, you will undoubtedly require storage space or a small work area.

You are not required to handle everything.

My favorite aspect of dropshipping is that I don't have to move an inch. When I receive an order, I contact my supplier, make payment, give vital information, and voilà! You are not required to store, package, and handle shipping.

All you have to do is market the items, put them out there, and wait for your customers to come to you. I know this already seems like a fantastic idea, but there might be drawbacks, especially if you don't get to check the product to ensure it meets standards.

There are several advantages of dropshipping, but I have only chosen to mention these three to keep my post as brief as possible. I’ll discuss more of these disadvantages/drawbacks in the next article.
