Something unbelievable and extremely shocking happened today, Bitcoin had a flash crash from $66k to $8,200 on Binance.US, which was an 88% drop in a matter of second, this is definitely the highest drop I have ever seen, since I started trading crypto, anyone who took advantage of this drop, would be one of the luckiest person's on earth, because the person just made a massive 800% return on his or her investment in a matter of second, mind blowing right but I highly doubt anyone took an advantage of the flash drop.

But don't start panicking, Bitcoin is not going crash and your money is safe, whether you trade using binance.us or other exchange, the error or manipulation as some people will say, could be caused by something called "Fat Finger Error".

Fat Finger Error (where a trader accidentally enters the wrong price) or by a large market order instead of selling their position in blocks of trades. Alternatively it's possible it could have been a deliberate trade to manipulate the market.

It wasn't only Bitcoin that was affected by this error or manipulation, all other coins on the U.S version of Binance, trading platform to buy and sell cryptocurrencies in the United States, BNB fell from $505 to $214 , ETH fell from $4,375 to $2,873 , SOL fell from $194 to $142, ADA fell from $2.29 to $0.42, Dogecoin fell from 0.26 cents to 0.10 cents, but the market is normal now.

I really don't know if it closed us traders trades, mostly those who had open trades on futures using SL (Stop loss) or maybe their portfolio wasn't large enough to hold their trades, if it did close trade, that means the flash crash would have liquidated so many traders accounts in a matter of seconds, I strongly hope it didn't because that won't be fair to anyone.

If you trade using Binance.US, reading this post I like to know what happened to your trades or your portfolio, was it affected or not?.
