Samsung, Apple company biggest rival and competitor, when it comes to the world of gadget, starts to get more actively involved in Blockchain based gaming, they backed up an a NFT-based online "play-to-earn" video game called "Axie Infinity".

According to Wikipedia, Axie Infinity is a trading and battling game that allows players to collect, breed, raise, battle, and trade creatures known as "axies" (characters based on axolotl), which are digitized as NFTs, the video game was developed by Vietnamese studio Sky Mavis, which uses Ethereum-based cryptocurrency AXS and SLP, it is the most expensive NFT collection.

I haven't played the Axie Infinity game yet, but am in love and highly invested in one of it tokens AXS, like it literally one of my most invested tokens in my portfolio, recently it made a similar run (huge pump) like what Solana (SOL) did at end of August and in September, but is currently recently correcting and am expecting it to pump again soon, because it has lot of use cases, some great partnership deals with YouTube, Amazon, Spotify, Major League Soccer’s Real Salt Lake, Las Vegas Aces, iSportconnect, Pabst Theater Group, Neumos and Barboza, Jacobs Entertainment, Inc., and so many more, if you don't have some already in think you should consider buying it, I feel this Samsung news is going to have a bullish effect, but let what the market does.

Samsung Next, the tech giant’s investment subsidiary, participated in a US$152 million Series B round of Sky Mavis, the Vietnam-based blockchain game company and developer of popular play-to-earn game Axie Infinity. Samsung has previously invested in blockchain game developers including Dapper Labs, the creator of CryptoKitties, and Hong Kong-based Animoca Brands. Source

Axie Infinity is a mobile game often compared to Pokémon, where users are rewarded in NFTs for breeding monsters that are known as “Axies.” Since its release, the game has gained a huge fan base in developing countries such as the Philippines and Venezuela. Source
