What does it mean to be successful? And different forms of success.
I will start by defining what success means according to the internet definitions of success, Success is the state or condition of meeting a defined range of expectations. It may be viewed as the opposite of failure. The criteria for success depend on context, and may be relative to a particular observer or belief system.
In the definition of success above, the part of success being or may be viewed as the opposite of failure. It's true in the literal sense of failure being opposite or success, but mine view is that failure is still a path to success, because failure gives you two options, it's either you get back up after being knocked down by obstacles to success, quitting at something you are doing because you failed at it may be once or twice or you stay down and keep coming up with different excuses why you haven't succeeded.
For me when I fail at something, I ask questions, look for solutions either by going on YouTube which is the modern day greatest teacher or look for a successful person, who has succeed in that area you are struggling to succeed for advice and how to tackle you mistakes, because the person is already experienced, has made the mistakes you are currently facing and knows how to overcome the challenges you are facing.
Because success comes in different forms and to me failure is a part of it, in my opinion.
Now let go back to the actual sense of success, based of the definition of success to be a state or condition of achieving a certain level of goals or expectations. That why I say there are so many or different forms of success not just succeeding financial to be considered to be successful or have achieved success.
Thing like waking up in the morning because not everyone who slept at night wake up successfully, some could have woken up in the hospital or worst didn't wake up at all, which we don't pray for but it's still happens because that's life for you.
For those that don't work from home, going to work and coming back home safe it's a success, learning something new or finally learning something that has been difficult for you it still success, being able to convince someone to buy or help you sell your product is part of success.
For us traders learning a new strategy or perfecting our own trading strategies is a success, best part for it all is you as a trader making an analysis of where price is supposed to go and set your take profit at that point for a short term trade and your take profit get taken out, you know the feeling that comes with that or for a long term trade you are holding, your prediction keeps playing out, like those who bought Bitcoin at last year or years before, you know you have achieved success in holding your Bitcoin.
