Smart contract can be explain as a process that automate various output by providing sets of command which is followed to provide outcome based on some environmental factors, testing basically ensures that such contract are hack proof but as usual nothing is 100% certain and since it was created by man so also can it be destroy by others but smart contract test help to minimize the risk to a very high level with little to no proper loss if a hack should happen.

Smart contract testing varies from onchain performance, network validation, and generally all round regards to the project and while different projects performs theirs differently, PlatON will based theirs on two different points.

  • The first part is the economic model and chain characteristics validation

  • The second part is smart contract validation and adaptation

Over the course of utilizing PlatON network, different contracts are bound to be created to meet different DApps usage, decentralized applications comes with various use-cases which differs from one to another and while they might use the same network, their outcome is bound to be different and to ensure all works are perfectly executed down to the tiniest details, smart contract test will be carried out.

The sole aim of this is the ability to adapt to the methods, types and versions of smart contracts, and we verify this by writing corresponding test contracts.

The above is simply one of many works PlatON is currently ongoing and every detail is been shared across their social medias from Twitter to telegram.
