The much anticipated roadmap on PlatON is live and I must say it truly meets all expectations and more.

Hello and welcome to another beautiful Thursday, some few days back we talked on testing as it relates to PlatON and also the stages each takes from a single node down to cluster.

Each step showed how much care is put into place to ensure security is of the utmost input and no room for error.

Just when we thought things couldn't get any more interesting with the updates on PlatON, the team made another surprise and this time a good illustration to show how far PlatON has come and also what they intend in time to come.

Stating from a test net way back in 2018, months after a bullish run and then into a bearish season, PlatON never stopped working. While many projects stop responding, others went into exile, PlatON was steadfast.

If you have been in the crypto space for more than a year or more then you are familiar with how most projects launches.

Most spend few months, and others weeks designing and running test with the hope of getting it just right, some end up getting exploited possibly due to unforseen challenge and others just want to get their token out and enjoy the inflow of cash, PlatON once again showed us it was never all about the money, they successfully ran several test net from 2018 - 2020 and 2021 was the breaking point.

If you recall to some months back, a vote was carried out to ensure all parties involved were notified about the migration from test net into mainnet, truly it was a great moment and also the beginning of many updates to come.

What is PlatON?

PlatON, initiated and driven by the LatticeX Foundation, is a next-generation Internet infrastructure protocol based on the fundamental properties of blockchain and supported by the privacy-preserving computation network.

PlatON focuses on bringing privacy in a decentralized form, many might argue that we probably have several platforms that offer privacy and this is simply a replica but I say to differ.

Privacy we know up till this point is centralized based meaning at the end of the day, a server own by a certain entity, group, or individual have access to your information and if the fact that it is centralized it simply means it can be exploited to meet their needs.

PlatON is bringing privacy into a decentralized world where no single or group of users have right to what happens, the entire public decides what goes on and no single entity can change or adjust any setting to meet their criteria.

To this end, security is of the utmost important and this is where privacy-preserving computing comes in.

From the roadmap uploaded, PlatON is currently working on this stage and with time a more profound understanding will be made available.

While the team continues to update and release new information towards achieving the set goal, they also ensure the community is not neglected. A proof of this was the comment made alongside the roadmap announcement which asked users to share their opinion regarding the roadmap, and to make your time worth it, a little incentive was added and you can read about it here https://twitter.com/PlatON_Network/status/1415263690287288322?s=19
