It’s A Period Of Celebration

It’s that time of the year where people celebrate together, share gifts and also bring smile to peoples faces. Although Christmas period shouldn’t be the only time we share gifts, it should be on our normal routine that bringing smile to peoples faces should be what we do anytime anywhere irrespective of who we’re or the time of the year. But Christmas is also something very special to me, i don’t know about others but Christmas and new year is a special day. The birth of Christ and having to see another wonderful year after all the struggles and all. Some people didn’t make it to the new year but yet you did, so it’s something worth celebrating.

Christmas in my house is celebrated big and also new year too, aside being happy to see another wonderful year, my granny’s birthday is also on the first of January which means double and bigger celebration to everyone in the family. I always like it when everyone gather together during this festive period to bond together, it usually bring lots of amazing memories to share with our children, telling them how important families are and how good it is when there is a reunion with everyone. Yeah, this festive season is like a reunion to my family members because they must come together to celebrate with each other. Each Christmas keeps getting better than the previous ones which is a good one of course 🥰🥰🥰 what more do I want than to see my family always happy together 😍

Each year we do travel to the village to celebrate with everyone. My last year Christmas was something else, unlike before, we hardly go out during this period, we stay together at home cooking all kinds of dishes and making merriment but it was quite different last year. We went for parties almost everyday, it wasn’t like the previous ones we had, the problem was that I only brought few of my outing clothes, I didn’t prepare well for the last year’s Christmas but as usually, we did our normal cooking and all. For the outing, I was doing wash and wear which means that I kept on repeating my clothes but I didn’t mind because I was having fun 🤩. I told my myself that the next one won’t be like this anymore😃

Well for this festive season, I came in prepared. I traveled two days ago to meet with my family at the village and I was very happy to see those whom I haven’t seen for a very long time. I plan to enjoy myself to the fullest by having fun with my nephews and nieces and also doing what I love best which is cooking all kinds of dishes. And most importantly, take myself out to parties, I came in prepared this season, so nothing is stopping me from having fun. It’s going to be fun fun fun all through and party part party all the time too. If you’re bored you can come along with me 😌😌
