At strategic points in our businesses, we are going to need either a business partner or an employee and in order for a smooth and effective relationship to occur between the both parties, there must be a cordial level of trust. When trust is built between employees, business partners and members of staff, it helps the business in gaining more grounds.

Now, even if we do feel it is not right to trust anyone, for the purpose of our business, we have to remain determined and choose to trust those with whom the affairs of our business relies on. There are somethings that will help us in choosing the right business associates and members of staff that we can trust, anyone who has any of the characteristics listed below, has to be completely avoided whenever we want to choose a business associate.

The first type of people that you should never get into business with, are the fickle minded individuals, these individuals are usually indecisive, they are on the same page with you today and they are on a different page the following day. They really do not know what they want for themselves and they just do things randomly.

The second type of people you should abstain from doing business with are those who are quick to share other people’s secret with you, be sure that running the affairs of your business with people like this will only make your business secret exposed to the world and of course that means a stronger competitor will surface and that may determine the end of the business. These set of people are just concerned about the benefit they can obtain from other people and noting more, so they spill anyone’s secret and they believe they owe no one loyalty.

The third type of people you should abstain from doing business with are those who are highly competitive, these people do not believe in being on equal grounds and they are just always concerned about being the head of the game. Those who are highly competitive should not be in business with you because all they will think about is to begin their own business and gain more grounds than you and since they know your business secret they will carefully use that as a strong pull towards what they want to get.

The fourth type of people you should abstain from doing business with are those who lack empathy, they care about no one else but themselves and for a brief moment they never care to put themselves in other people’s shoes. When you join business with people like this, be sure to lose your customers faster than you can imagine.
