An overdue evaluation

I started the year with a post about my onchain objectives in 2022. Setting goals is a good start to actually start working towards them, and I can always look back at that post and see how well (or not) am I doing.

I didn't set any HP or LEO number objectives, because the idea was focusing on the strategy, not on the goals:

Make at least 35 comments a week That makes 5 comments a day. I noticed my interaction was way lower this year than what it used to be, and focusing and taking time for it specifically will help me get back on track.

Posting at least 3 times a week With less time to post (and giving in to lazyness too), long were the days where I would post almost everyday. In some weeks I only did my usual Splinterlands giveaway and nothing more. I will continue to share the love and give away cards weekly, but will try to get back to my wildlife and photography posts more often, along with the unusual ramblings.

On hindsight thow, I realise I should also be assessing how well the strategy is doing; or better, how well am I actually sticking to the strategy. And up until now, can't really say I followed it flawlessly, not even close! More work, more stuff, and a lot less interaction than I wanted. Returning from Hivefest*... I feel hyped! Met so many people, heard so many different stories and experiences; and that came with a renewed will to grow even faster, learn more stuff, and try to be more involved in projects and communities on our blockchain!

So, looking back from the year's start and fast forwarding to now...

I was wondering a few weeks what was the nomenclature for LEO power, and if I read correctly 2000 LEO is a newborn cub so... off to newborn it is! Will try to pump up my LEO holdings; will probably buy most of them, because I'm way more of a consumer than a contributor on Leofinance. But since improving my knowledge of cryptos and financial markets in general is one of the things I'm hyped for, no doubt I'll be spending more time here.

As for my HP, my undisclosed goal for this year was to get at least 8000 HP, and I have no doubt I'll get them; but what I'm eager now, is to get to *5-digits HP! And since yesterday was HPUD, contributed a little more torwards it.

Now, the question is how can I get more involved and contribute more to Hive: increasing my presence / helping out in my favourite communities? Try to stir up the portuguese community on Hive? I guess the following weeks I'll try and get some of these answers!

One thing I'm managing to do this year: keep increasing my Splinterlands collection! The team continues super focused, delivering tons and tons of content, and although we're in a full blown bear market, pre-sales still fly in a matter of minutes! I can only imagine what will happen if market tides turn, and this enthusiasm stays the same, with more players onboarding.

When I started learning about crypto, trading was one of the things that got me pretty excited. I read a ton of stuff and learn most of the basics, dabbed my feet a little bit on the markets, but never really practiced what I learned. Do want to change that, but I do feel I need to read some more before diving in again. For the trading savys out there, are there any good online resources you recommend?

And since I'm looking for some feedback: any good projects on the blockchain that you recommend? I know that there are a ton of them that are probably flying under the radar. Comment away! :)
