Hi all.

I was invited to a challenge by @tsunsica, the #predictthefuture Challenge created by @daltono , is about imagine how would the world be in 2067, and well, I have two points of view here, one is very optimistic and the other not so much.

My pessimistic view on the future is mostly influenced by futuristic films such as Mad Max, Waterworld (it was the future, right?) The fifth Element... everything polluted, over populated and only very few with privileges while others fighting over a drop of water.

Assuming that the world won't be as polluted as I imagine, humans wouldn't be fighting over food but probably they wouldn't be doing much, just sitting there like couch potatoes because technology would be so advanced that things would be done with the blink of an eye, most people would be so out of shape that mortality rate would be less years.

On the bright side, maybe humans won't be so selfish as we are now, they wouldn't be killing as many animals or destroying as many forests as now and the world would be more balanced.

I like technology, I enjoy using voice commands to do simple things as turn on the lights, but it's hard to imagine where would that lead, we have many technology today to make life easier and I can't think of ways to make things easier, but I do think that everything will be faster.

Although who knows, 2067 isn't that far away in the future, maybe things wouldn't be as different as they are today, we all would still be existing in the middle of gadgets making things for us... I might be siting on a high tech wheelchair celebrating my 83rd birthday remembering how things were in the beginning of the millenium, remembering how I was as a 36 year old woman siting on a chair surrounded by gadgets making things for me... afterall, we live in the future already, 10 years ago things weren't as different but in some way everything changed at the same time.
