Korean volume

Once again, Hive's price made a huge jump, because of the immense buying volume on the Korean exchange Upbit. The pair Hive/KRW had a whopping volume of 400 million USD, which is 150 % of the total market capitalisation of Hive. :-) I find that very funny, as this is really insane, especially if you realise that 150 million Hive is powered up, so the trading must very intense there, with coins changing from one hand to another multiple times in a matter of minutes. All very strange to me, because I really don't see the point of doing such thing. But, I really don't care, as this has brought Hive to spot 114 of CoinMarketCap. Which brings it very close to coming in the top 100. And that may look symbolical, but it isn't. In the top 100 you just get a lot more attraction of new possible buyers. It's a bit like when a stock gets selected to get into Dow Jones Industrial Average. It makes the stock a lot more attractive to future investors.

A volume of almost 400 million in one pair, on one exchange, and good for over 80% of the total volume, nuts!

So, I must say, I am kind of hoping that the Koreans to another move tonight or tomorrow, and Hive can jump into that top 100. That will make a huge difference in attraction, and is free marketing for Hive, which we always can use. It is weird what those Koreans are doing over there with our Hive coin, but it could have a very nice side effect for all of us. We will see I guess, but it is always very nice to see your stake grow thousands of Dollars in value in one day. Maybe I need to learn to speak some Korean! ;-)

Sincerely,
