Silicon Valley Bank’s wokeness broke it

Silicon Valley Bank went under last weekend, and the aftermath shows that it is not a coincidence. The bank had rules around inclusiveness and diversity in their board, staff, etcetera

They were proud to have 45 % women, 2 veterans, 1 LGBTQ member, etcetera in the decision making spots of the firm.
It was diversification for diversification and not a choice of capabilities. And that woke decision cost them their bankruptcy.

The decision to buy almost exclusively US treasury bonds over the last few years, was a devastating one, because not diversified enough!
A diversified board put all their eggs in one basket, which pulled them under.

Student slams school board’s wokeness

Today, I saw this video about a student slamming the woke indoctrination of the school upon the kids.

I wanted to share this as our society and economy needs more people like this. Inclusiveness makes no sense if you make your company weaker with it!
It is time people wake up from their woke utopia!
