The older gen and even some entitled helpless people my age like to tell me that they are "Technologically Impaired", which basically means: "I am incapable of learning".

We aren't allowed to give them lashings anymore though, so I just grit my teeth and tune them out. You know the pity party is over when they give you a blank stare from opposite the store. I guess it is a glimmer of hope that they realise I have walked away.

I do see the predicament though, although as I always tell them; They had many years to understand and keep up with the tech.

So I guess the same is applicable to all these tokens that exist. At times I fear I will be getting lashed because I really don't understand how many of these things are connected.

What makes even less sense is if you actually look at what tokens are at the top.

Then I look at Youtube trending and or listen to 20 seconds of news.

It all makes more sense when you add perspective. The tokens and their ecosystems mirror the broken and mental regression that plagues the world today.

Since money also dictates everything and money won't partake in things it can't control, it makes sense that the Cryptoverse is as fragmented as it is.

There will always be some who are actually doing things to improve with the hope of it paying off obviously. More often though there will only be those who build things purely for the pay off.

These projects and people will always be more connected, more entrenched in tribalism and more hyped.

For me it really is the hype that kills a thing, if there is one thing I have noticed about people who aught to be lashed is that they get very excited over things. Not all. Just most.

They drag others in and they wait inline to vote for a winner between two people who ought to be coffin shopping but instead pretend to be intellectual. I wonder if we are all part of one big asylum.

I hope I am just staff though.

Another aspect I think that really emphasises how insidious this crypto mirror of society is. Is the fact that most top crypto projects are consumer-based, for want of a better term.

Most popular things are just slot machines. Obviously the market itself is a slot machine, but why the extreme focus on reducing your odds even more?

I think that is why I like things like Hive, and surprisingly I don't mind ImmutableX even though they are on Ethereum.

What really intrigues me is I guess not just a crypto thing, but really a baffling trademark of current society.

People are batshit needy, yet prop up all the things that only take.
