Woe is stagnation
There is a lot happening in the Splinterverse and then again there is not much. It really depends on how much energy you put into it all.
Personally, I add to my cards in bursts and mainly grow from reward cards. My burst of dumping a bunch of $ into Splinterlands are far and in between, so when I don't get particular great rewards. I know who to blame :P
For the display I excluded potions but they are usually 50% of reward "value" , they are also the most irritating things after merits.
All in all I am not too bothered, the Gold account made 11ish dollars between battling and whatnot. If anything I would not just mind more cards but to be fair I can just use the SPS and keep buying some low enders.
My Modern bronze account did attrocious, I think this one only got its first chest mid season. That does all come down to me not putting any energy into it and just letting Splintermate play with whatever cards I delegated.
Maybe this season just so it does not irritate me entirely I will rent at the start then just spot check some Riftwatcher cards to delegate.
I should generally add some of them to my Gold account also so it will benefit all three accounts anyway.
My Wild bronze account did about average, quite a few cards, which is nice. Possibly now that I think of it, Riftwatchers are comparatively pricey, so I might just focus a bit more on getting at the very least more baseline summoners.
With the new rules I also think checking that I have the min level cards on these accounts is worthwhile, but mainly at least no ghost summoners.
I will check to set a budget for summoner rentals but I don't think I will waste time renting monsters.
I have now tried the whole renting thing, and I do not think it is something that warrants all the time spent trying to stay ontop of it.
If I were to rent it would also not be for Bronze or even to go to Silver.
It possibly makes sense to go to Diamond but then it is also just simply a case of automating rentals and obviously automating the gameplay because aside from possibly 10 or so games it is not reasonable to try to play at maximum unless it is all you are doing.
So all in all, the botties did pretty ok. Aside from the obvious crap modern account, but like I said these accounts are basically stagnant right now and the only other use for them is to either rent out or sell.
I am too lazy to do either those, and selling now surely is a noob move.
