So, it happened again... At the beginning of March we got a promise that the 3rd edition cards will be released at the end of the month (March), and now, at the beginning of April, we got another that it will happen at the end of THIS month...

I don't want to go deep in the story and repeat myself, so if you want to check out more about the release date and some changes when that happens, you can check the new post from @dcitygame where they have announced new release date...

It's not that I'm not happy with ideas from the post and how it should change tokenomics and rewarding players... It's more than all these announcements of announcements are leaving a lot of place to speculators and in those moments, regular (ordinary) players got milked and used...

Again, I'm not hating or FUDing here, just giving my point of view... Also, I will not do any extreme moves after this news...

At the very beginning, I would like to clarify few things... dCity is a kind of investment game, which implies that you have to invest money (crypto, or however you want to call it) that you can play it... And that means that you can win, but you can also lose your investment... So, NEVER, but NEVER invest more than you can afford to lose... I have invested an amount that I can afford to lose, and I'm fine with that...

As you can see from the first screenshot from my main dCity, I have made some re-organization and moved some citizens to the second one... I have hit 1000 unemployed citizens, so I got some negative penalties for having more than that... One of the main differences that will be implemented (hopefully soon) is that ZERO income cities will receive lower rewards than they do now... So, my idea of building a city just to hit more population and not build an income is off... :)

Also, I'm far from getting into the next "batch rewards" so there is no sense throwing SIM through the window until I'm closer to that... I'm between 185th and 190th place in rankings for months and without doing some crazy big investment, it looks that I will stay there... And, I'm completely fine with that... Long story short, I will push more improvements in the second city in the future...

Speaking of which, my second city has doubled its population! It has 70 souls at the moment and it has some income, too! Base income is around 42 SIM, and if TAX stays where it is, it should receive 11 SIM rewards tomorrow! Also, I have transferred a couple of scientists and artists to it so it's like a University camp... :)

What can I say about the SIM price and the market in general? From last week's report, the price was steadily going up... I was expecting the release of the cards any moment, and I suppose that others had the same expectations, so the price was going toward that moment accordingly... Today we got a bigger green candle that was directly connected with the newest post with the new release date...

Again, it's nice to see this SIM token price recovery, but I would like to see some real, healthy growth, based on tokenomics, use-case in the game, and less speculative moments... But, on the other side, everything is better than going down all the way...

All that I have stated in this post are MY OPINIONS and SPECULATIONS about the game... Please DYOR and give me your opinion in the comment section... I would like to hear what do you think about all this!

Thank you for your valuable time,
