Today, I had a nice encounter with a (new) friend from HIVE and of course, we got to the topic of the recent events in the cryptosphere... I was following the events closely through different sources and levels of FUD were (and still are) very, very high... Many people lost money that they had on the FTX exchange, and that's probably a painful experience for the future... Many people will leave the space because of that, but many others will stay... And those who will stay will be stronger than ever... We just have to remember the "bad times" which we survived... For example, the STEEM hostile takeover... We were all scared, afraid of what will happen... We were fighting against it, every one in its way... But, we "lost" the battle for STEEM... As soon as we realize the real value of crypto, we will realize how what has happened was something best that could happen... Like with HIVE... If we stayed under the STEEM umbrella, our future would every day be under the pressure... that piano would be hanging every day over our heads... But like this, we don't have to worry about that and build freely... In recent events, FTX was playing dirty, and they have been eliminated... One bad actor "eliminated" from the system is the best thing that could happen... If they stayed and grew too big, it would be harder to stop them, and losses would be even bigger... Like this, the whole crypto space is healthier... So, in some way, I'm happy that this happened now... It gave chance to all of us who believe in crypto to stack even more tokens... It helped me to grab more of these precious HIVE tokens! And in the middle of this fuss, I have reached the 50K Hive Power mark! It wasn't on my goal list, but it's nice to reach such a "rounded number"! We didn't see many movements, everyone is HODLing its tokens, and mining BEE tokens, and it looks like people are happy with their investment... I am one of those and it's nice to see new BEE tokens mined every day... During this week, I have added 50 more tokens to my stake and I'm only 150 tokens far from my yearly goal!!! I have mentioned my situation regarding the **BEE token** holdings... Currently, I'm staking all my curation earnings, but I do exchange some of my author rewards... It will not add much to my **RISING STAR** cards goal, as I will actually "lose" cards that I will use for blending... My focus is more on collecting as many different NFTs as possible... I have reached my **RISING STAR** cards goal for this year, and all that I'm doing is more for fun than for chasing numbers... ;) I have probably mentioned last time that I had one more unstake to be done... Well, that happened during the week, I swapped some **SPS tokens** to HIVE and put them all together into the diesel pool... I know that I will lose "points" for the GLX airdrop, but I want to keep my focus on SPS and HIVE at the moment... And for maximizing those profits, the best way is to go into the diesel pool...
