Before the Storm .:. #MyHiveGoals 2022
I have probably used this title in some of my previous posts as I like that period of time... When dark clouds are coming, you feel the breeze on your skin, it's getting colder, and light rain appears...
This time, I have a feeling that a "positive" storm is coming (the one after the long period of drought), but it's hard to predict when... Was checking the previous big bear market that hurt me a lot, back in 2018 and got to the conclusion that we probably have a lot more pain to survive until we see the sun...
As I was at the Hive Fest a week ago, I missed all the hype and FOMO connected to the Splinterlands game and their "satellite" subprojects... Also, I have missed the "positive effects" of those events... I mean, experiencing separate hypes to get the big picture... but...

...we had a Hive Fest which is usually a "bullish" event as it reconnects leaders of HIVE, "centralizes" and focuses ideas as all of us are working for the same goal, for HIVE! On the other side, we have a Splinterlands team that is creating new games under the same hood... Connected with each other and nested on HIVE!
The next on the schedule is SplinterFest which will happen soon in Las Vegas, and the perfect "storm" is coming... Oh, yes... I forgot to mention the new Hive fard fork which should happen somewhere in mid-October... So much positive news all around, and imagine what will happen when we finally leave this bear market?!
Again, I like to repeat... It's not the question of IF that will happen, but more of WHEN... I have mentioned a comparison with the last bear market, so if it will be similar, maybe we have 5-6 months more to "suffer", or better said, to accumulate tokens before we go up... (just my speculation and no financial advice)
Let's get back to the #myhivegoals and numbers for the last week... That huge over 1K bar is my #hivepud power-up, but I'm more focused on those a bit smaller ones... Around 350-400 HP... Those are my little weekly goals where I would like to power up that amount and try to catch the difference to my ORCA goal! It would be great to see more of those green bars as they are rewards from author and curation earnings... But, it will come... 😉

As I did my last report 2 weeks ago, some of the numbers will look exaggerated, but those are accumulated tokens in 14 days, instead of the usual 7 days... The difference between now and 2 weeks ago is exactly 900 HIVE! That's the amount of HIVE Power that I have accumulated for that timeframe... I didn't post during the Hive Fest, so I didn't have author rewards, but I did have some of my earnings from the 2nd layer tokens that I have converted into HIVE and powered up!
As I have hit my LEO Power monthly goal before, I didn't force this token accumulation during the last 2 weeks... I have converted most of the tokens into HIVE, but kept some and staked them... To be more exact, only 23 LEO tokens were added to my stake...
It looks that the WORKERBEE whales have taken a break... There is no sell pressure and the price stopped falling... The BUY side of the order book is still weak, and I have some orders placed there, waiting patiently... I have staked additional 50 WORKERBEE tokens lately, and I'm getting closer and closer to my yearly goal... Only 350 tokens more!
The BEE is still one of the best "tribe" tokens out there... It's interesting that without doing any major marketing, the price continues to be more-less stable... The combination of use cases helps in maintaining the price... Staking for having higher curation rewards, liquidity pools on diesel pools, and payment fees for Tribaldex services, are just some of the use cases that are helping a lot for a stable marketplace price...
GAMING GOALS
I couldn't keep myself from buying some additional cards in the RISING STAR game! I bought 2-3 cards that are "out of print" with my STARBITS earnings and improved my "unique cards" numbers... :) As I was on the road for almost a week, I didn't open packs as usual, so fewer cards accumulated... Also, I have blended FTB2 cards which burned a lot of cards needed for that transaction... Altogether, I have added 166 cards in the last 14 days... Not bad at all... :)
I have missed all the hype and FOMO around the Splinterlands game thanks to Hive Fest... And to be honest, maybe that was a good thing... I had ideas to get involved with licenses and maybe tower defense game packs, but I missed both...
On the other side, I have continued with my plan... My first big SPS tokens unstake has happened and I have moved the tokens into the liquidity pool... I have changed half of the tokens into SWAP.HIVE and paired them with the rest of the SPS tokens into the pool... So, my number of staked SPS tokens went down... In this (and future reports) I will calculate this number by summing up staked SPS tokens with SPS tokens inside the pool... The number will probably go down in the next 2-3 reports, but after that, I hope that the number will go up again...
So, there is a possibility that in the next report this monthly goal will be "UNGREENED"... :) When that new football game goes live and staked SPS tokens will be counted for an airdrop, I will probably return tokens back to my stake...
