Breaking Down the FUD .:. December 1st HivePUD
Here we are, at the last #hivepud this year! And what kind of a year we had! I suppose that many of us have expected that it will be hard in crypto this year, but almost nobody could predict all those "black swan" events that we had... Among many, LUNA and FTX were the worst, and maybe we will have more in these last 30 days of this year (I hope not)... If someone didn't know what FUD means (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt), he knows now...
But, if you are here, you have survived the storm and you are still standing! Congratulations! Maybe it could be more pain, but after surviving all this, we can survive anything else... Luckily, we on HIVE didn't have that much pain... To be honest, I expected that we will see HIVE again around 10c, but it didn't happen... But, we had that drop from $0.50 to $0.30 and that was a nice opportunity to accumulate more HIVE... and with the current price, I would say that it is a good time (not financial advice)...

Let's go back to the topic of the post... Besides powering up, I wanted to talk about FUD, and break down parts of it... Is it so bad and why it is like that? Firstly, we have FEAR which is a bad emotion for sure and probably the worst of these 3 words which are part of the FUD... Fear is probably the strongest emotion that can completely "block" a person from reasonable and logical thinking... When we are scared, we do stupid things, without thinking, impulsively... And if you are an investor, you know that the most important thing is to expulse emotion and think logically... So, FEAR is the most destructive in every way...
The second part of FUD is Uncertainty... In my opinion, it sounds much worse than it is in reality... If we think about it, what is "certain" in life? Death and taxes? 😃 Probably it is like that, as most of the time, some bad news came suddenly, as it happened with LUNA or FTX... It wasn't an "uncertain" time before that... So, it's more like a consequence than a reason to worry about...
And last, we have DOUBT... If you know me, you know that I like to ask a lot, and revalue things, investments, projects... Maybe sometimes I overthink things, but I do reconsider stuff... You can call it DOUBT if you want, but I don't see anything wrong with it...I suppose it's connected with the "uncertain" part of the FUD which has a sense... But, in our days, when we are misled about many things by our governments, banks, and "people in charge", why wouldn't we have the right to be in doubt? As a matter of fact, doubt is helping us to do our research, and to dispel doubts, which leads to being assured in our decisions... That can be only a positive, and healthier thing for us...
So, in conclusion, I wouldn't say that FUD is a bad thing, especially if you recognize it and know how to cope with it... Lately, the strategy of doing the opposite of the MSM narrative helped me a lot to make the best decisions... And don't forget, most of the time FUD is created, it's not just born from nothing...
Back to the most important thing of today! Time to power up some HIVE! I have done my last 1K power-up for this year and currently, I'm at 52.5K HivePower

Proud to say that I have received my first PUM badge which means that I have powered up more than 1 HIVE every single day in the previous month! I failed to do that a few months before, but finally, I did it!
