Falling Knives and Blue Chips .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 80
Today, in this WORKERBEE report, I would like to share a short personal story about my journey to crypto... Maybe it will be helpful for some of you and maybe you will not do the same mistakes as I have done... :)
Back in the days, maybe 15-20 years ago, I tried FOREX trading... As I had no idea about it (except that you can earn money), I have found some online courses about it... Learning about candles, charts, indicators, and all other stuff was fun, but without DOING it, it was a bit boring...
On EVERY learning website, there was a recommendation to NOT TRADE immediately, but to start with "test account", and "fake money"... Just to learn how it goes and not lose all your money... Of course, I didn't listen... lol... It was boring to "earn" fake money as it is fake! :) Also, I thought that "being right" 3 times from 5 trades means that I will be rich, which gave me wings to start trading with real money...
But, investing real money (at that age) was a completely different experience than "playing trading" (with fake money)... The idea was to do "scalp trading", earn some money, close trades fast... As I was "green", my scalp trades were open for days, as I was waiting that them hit my target, and constantly moving my stop loss... That's the biggest mistake... I didn't STICK TO MY PLAN...

Another big mistake happened when I "tasted" crypto... It was in 2018 (I think)... We were in a bear market, and I began to accumulate some tokens... The premise was that the token has bottomed, and I will buy a lot and sell them when they go up (hopefully in a few days)... I bought some... Price dropped, I bought more... Price dropped, I bought more... Instead of being a couple of days, that bear market lasted almost 2 years!!! That token has NEVER recovered and I lost money on it... That was a so-called, "falling knife purchase "... Don't do that... :)
Also, from the same period of time, the MAIN LESSON that I have learned (hopefully... lol...) is what most experienced traders (and investors) know... When times are hard, you have to switch to the "RISK OFF" phase... This means that you have to accumulate assets that CAN survive a long bear market... It's not time to do some crazy investing in new shiny tokens... That's my main reason for focusing on WORKERBEE tokens at this moment... Of course, along with them, we have other "blue-chip tokens" that SHOULD survive hard times, like BTC, ETH, and I will be free to add HIVE in this small group...

What about the bonus?
When you don't know the markets, or you are not a trader, or you don't know a lot of tokens, it could be a good idea to buy some INDEX tokens (not financial advice)... As I like to have control over my holdings, I don't have too many of them, but if you don't want to spend numerous hours checking out tokens, maybe they are a good solution to "participate in the markets"... Of course, do it only if you believe in the specific market (in our case, Hive-engine tokens)...

As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... There will be distributed 113 BEE tokens and 30 INDEX tokens as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 9.664%, and when we added the bonus it went up to 11.679%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens at the moment of creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the current prices...
