Nobody Is Buying? .:. #MyHiveGoals 2023

It looks that my initial post for 2023 #myhivegoals was a great discussion started about certain coin(s)... It showed many different views about the same thing and that's exactly what we want to see in the comment section, and not just there, but all around the HIVE and more... It's boring if we think the same and if we agree about everything... As a matter of fact, that's the biggest trap into which we, as a society can fall... Without having different opinions, there is no progress or growth! Of course, everyone would like to be right, but in a progress, there is no right or wrong, the most important is that there is a dialogue that will lead to improvements and progress...

So, the most discussed goal of mine was the GLX token goal... It wasn't that important if I have a chance to reach it or not, but more is a good investment or not... I would like to highlight @gadrian's post about this topic where he was analyzing his decision of going into GLX hard or not... (I would strongly suggest you check out the post and support it as it had tons of value, not just in the post, but also in the comment section)...

The thing with investments is that when you take one, you are doing it because you believe in it, you check all data, and tokenomics, and compare that with expectations, and external markets... And then, in the end, you BOLD only data that you like and you want to see, and forget about all the rest... 😂 Sounds funny, but it's true... If we did a mistake and took that "trade", even then, we will probably defend it... :)

There are many reasons why I took that path, and there are many reasons why someone else didn't... @gadrian has listed some of them, and I will not repeat his words... But, I would like to remind you of one obvious, but very often forgotten fact... Here on HIVE, behind every post that you read, there is a person who wrote it (I think that bots aren't here... yet... 😃)... In the same way, in every order that you take (BUY or SELL), another entity on the other side does the opposite... Every SELLER has a BUYER and vice versa...

I heard many times saying: "Nobody is buying that shittoken!" WRONG! If you have sold yours, someone bought it... If I check comments on my last week's post and Adrian's post, I could easily conclude that nobody is buying GLX tokens (except me 😀)... But, daily trading volume says differently... Almost every day, tokens in value of over 20K HIVE (over 8K USD) change hands! And I'm not buying that much... lol...

I believe that whales are accumulating the tokens in silence (like they usually do)... And you believe that some dumb investors are buying this shittoken... 😃 Different opinions are OK as nobody has a crystal ball to see the future... Nobody is right or wrong until we see a confirmation in the future... Until then, all this will be forgotten... :)

In the beginning, let's check out HiveStats...

Like I said in my initial post, I will not be so "aggressive" in my Hive Power accumulation this year... I have a feeling that we will have a few opportunities to cash out some profits this year and that's why I counted that part in #myhivegoals... Also, some of the funds that I was powering up every week, I have forwarded to some other goals... That's why the graph from HiveStats doesn't look as sexy as it was last year... :)

Anyways, that line is still going up and that count!

After running these goals only for a week, I think I have found the goal that will probably make me the most problems... 😃 Maybe I have overestimated myself with my LEO Power goal and it will be harder to get there than I thought... But, I will not whine too much about it, or lower the goal, but rather embrace it and try to reach it! I have staked a bit under 100 LEO tokens during the last 7 days... That means that even if I do it like that until the end of the year, I will still be short 1-2K LEO Power! But, it is too early to worry about it...

GAMING GOALS - Flexible Goals

There is some news in the RISING STAR game and new collaborations with other blockchain games, which means more use cases for NFTs and tokens in the game... Also, I will probably start buying specific cards directly from the markets! Not worried about my RISING STAR goal at all as I have a lot of fun accumulating cards... This week, I have added 366 NFTs to my collection!

Back to the beginning and my GLX token goal... It looks like I'm a stubborn person and all the negativity around the GLS/GLX story didn't create any doubts about this goal, nor stopped me from acquiring more tokens... If you have DYOR about a certain project and you are sure in your calculations, you should be like that too... As a reminder, we should always have in mind that only 5% of people are successful in investing, while the rest fails... And if you want to get into that 5%, you should make a move and make a first step!

This week, I have staked all airdropped tokens from Splinterlands and bought additional tokens from the market... In total, 4237 additional tokens have been added to my stake which makes this monthly goal the closest to be reached...
