You have probably noticed that I don't write too many posts regarding DeFi, some specific cryptocurrencies, shilling some projects, etc... It's not that I'm not researching different projects out there, and it's not that I didn't invest in many of them, but it's more about NOT giving some weird ideas to my readers... I know that I'm not some big influencer or such, but I do feel responsible for writing and creating my content, and sending a message through them...

But, one of the things where I don't want to keep my mouth shut is when we get bombarded with "fake news", or better said badly interpreted news... You know that thing when some government, or people in power, try to blame someone else for their wrong moves and stupidity... There, I can't be silent and not point the finger where the problem lies...

And those things are repeating day by day... And sometimes, we don't even notice how they hide their tracks behind something... But, when you begin to "read" the news through news, you can't "UNSEEN" it... 😃 For example, I saw this tweet this morning:

https://twitter.com/AltcoinDailyio/status/1496722470891491328?t=ZilRKUozHfXoLtRusmAPZw&s=19

It looks like valid "news" and in a nutshell, it can be true, but only partly true... Firstly, it's not Russia that has crashed crypto... It's not Putin that has sold his Bitcoins and killed the price (btw. at the moment of writing this, it's recovering very fast)... It's YOU, ME (OK, I'm not at this occasion... lol), and OTHER weak hands that have crashed the crypto! You can't fake selling a limited asset like Bitcoin (OK, maybe you can on centralized exchange)...

The problem is that people, after reading this tweet, start to panic, and do the worst thing that they can do... Sell their assets that are the most resistant in the hardest times! Who to blame? Well, you can blame mainstream media or some influencers who don't know how to pick the right words, but in the end, you are the person who sells that asset... You are doing that action that pushes the price down... And you are mad about it?

The solution? It's always the same answer... Always DYOR, check multiple resources, THINK about it clearly, compare with some other similar event, or asset, and then make your decision...

I remember well that "corona dump" that we had almost exactly 2 years ago... It was scary when it happened, to see Bitcoin price going from 10K to almost 3K in just 3-4 days... In those moments, it was hard to think clearly, but it wasn't the end of the world, and you could get to the conclusion that NOTHING changed regarding Bitcoin... The fundamentals were the same before, and after... The price HAD TO recover, especially after that sharp drop... And it did...

The same thing happened today... It was strong news that moved the price down, but in a long term, that news didn't change anything regarding Bitcoin... The problem is that mainstream media present us with this news the end of the world and everything will collapse...

I said this many times before, and I will say it many times more... Don't follow blindly mainstream media news and don't fall on EVERY news that you hear... Their job is to hit on your emotions and they will do ANYTHING to provoke that emotion... And then you WILL do exactly what you are supposed to do...

You are better than that... You are not a robot... Look beyond the news and you will be successful...

Thank you for your time,
