So this was trending on Twitter this morning:

It's no secret that I don't like Elon Musk, but despite being called out for allegedly doing a pump and dump with Doge, he still seems to hold a lot of sway in the crypto space.

I can't imagine that the HODLers are going to be happy that Tesla just dumped nearly a billion dollars worth of Bitcoin during a bear market. The CEO of Tesla (not Musk) said that it wasn't due to a lack of faith in Bitcoin, but due to liquidity issues for the company, but I still feel like a lot of diamond hands are going to be upset about it.

I think it's a good thing if this makes more people disillusioned with Elon and/or Tesla's thoughts about crypto in general. He has way too much influence just due to his wealth and celebrity, but like, he didn't become rich with crypto, he was already rich. If you want to take advice from a crypto millionaire who got their wealth from crypto because you consider their advice good, go for it, you'll get no judgement from me. But Elon is a billionaire who can afford to gamble and dck around with money as much as he wants, I don't think his advice about what coins he likes really is relevant to an average person with a small investment, you know? Especially* given the pump and dump accusations.

So I think it would be healthy if this lessens Elon's influence in the crypto sphere. What do y'all think? I mean obviously I'm no crypto millionaire, but it always worried me how much faith people put into his random tweets.
