Process of Awakening | September 2021 #HIVEPUD

And there she is in all of her autumn glory, September….this is quite a surreal month for me since it brings back so many memories from years past, in addition to the start of my favorite season…

This month, 6 years ago, my husband passed away in the blink of an eye, changing my whole world…I thought I would never be able to bounce back, deep in my grief…

But I did & persevered, quietly keeping his memory tucked inside my heart...

In turn, this started me on my path of awakening...

This month, 3 years ago, I had a trip of a lifetime in Virginia, which I will never forget...I even had found love again, when I thought I never would...

After a brief separation, our paths crossed again in 2020 & the Universe gave us a second chance, which is still going strong...

As I go through these memories that run through my mind, it reminds me of my own resilience & drive to keep living life for all the wonderful things it has to provide us…

September is a powerful month for me, I guess…

When I said goodbye to August, I felt grateful for its presence. The funny thing is I didn’t do anything extraordinary...I worked hard on my business & brand, saw a couple of friends I haven’t seen in awhile & did all the daily activities that needed to be done…

Yet, I feel so grateful. I have learned so much about myself, which allows me to continue on with a newer perspective...it amazes me how different we can be from one month to the next. We are always growing & changing (mostly for the better) …

August brought a lot of chaos to the world with wildfires, hurricanes, more division & everything in between….I felt like I was standing still & watching a movie reel...with a heavy heart...

While it doesn’t show much signs of stopping anytime soon, I still remain hopeful…

I still have faith… I still believe...I don’t really have any answers, but as long as we work on ourselves continually & show each other more tolerance & compassion, over time, we can change things for the better….

I have seen more understanding, more compassion… it may not seem that way since the mainstream narrative makes sure to hold up that illusion (which is what it wants) but the love & humanity is there…. We just have to look a bit harder for it…

Until then, we need to keep LIVING our lives & not live in fear...we are here to love, laugh, & LIVE... we can't lose focus on that... THIS is why we are here, to embrace all of our experiences & live life as if every day was our last...

And isn’t it worth that?
