The Chaos Legion Vouchers have finally dropped! It's currently day 2 and we are starting to see a decrease in value of the vouchers. From a high of almost 30 USD on Day 1, the vouchers are currently going for around 19 USD.

The Situation

When we check out the vouchers on Hive-Engine.com we can see this.

Based on this we can see that people are willing to buy the vouchers for around 19 USD, while sellers want to part with it for around 20.5 USD. As the supply starts to increase, it will be a battle between buyers and sellers. Sellers will always want to earn as much as they can while the buyers will try to get it for as cheap as possible. Only time can tell what will actually happen.

Price Predictions

My fearless forecast for the price predictions (a guesstimate if you will) is the price should taper down by next week. It might hit the lows after 1-2 weeks then spike afterwards. By the end of the season, vouchers might go back to 30 USD because people would realize that they don't have enough vouchers and would literally scramble for it.

My Plan

A few days before the CL vouchers dropped, I was expected to get around 110 vouchers. Now, it's doing around 102. Initially, I planned to buy 150 presale packs. With the price of the Chaos Legion packs being this high, I am currently torn between three options: Sell my vouchers and miss out on the presale, Hold and buy vouchers slowly until I have a guaranteed 100 vouchers, OR Sell everything beyond 50 vouchers.

Plan A: Sell All the Vouchers!

This would give me around 2000 USD just by doing nothing. This looks quite enticing, but I assume that voucher prices are bound to go even lower towards the middle of the Pre-Sale. So let's peg the price I can earn to 1000 USD. Still, this is a lot for no extra effort on my part.

Plan B: HODL and buy slowly!

This is the gamer in me talking. I want all those packs. I want to be part of this game and everything it has to offer. I really like the game and see the huge potential it has for #playtoearn.

Plan C: Sell Everything but 50 Vouchers.

This is the safest method. It is a mixture of both plans but I feel like this is too safe. The 50 vouchers won't get me much during the later airdrops, and I'd hate to miss out on those then.

Conclusion

I will have to wait for the market to decide how much the vouchers will really go for. If it's only double the cost of a pack, I'm going to be all for it. If it's at its current price, I will probably go for Plan A or C.
