What Have Learnt While Away on Hive

It’s been a while I last posted on hive community, I’ve been depressed for some reasons, but I’m getting out of it gradually, thanks to family and friends who are supporting in this tough time, it’s been hard time.

I’m excited I found my way back to Hive, I guess I’ve missed a lot, I have been reading posts on hive for couple of days now, then I realised I have been missing out of tremendous development and growth in the community. Phewwww!

I would like to share my experiences in the real life while I was not active on the block. A lot is happening across the globe which is contributing negatively to the mental state of an individual, both adult and children. Our TV and Radio breaking news are mostly bad news on daily basis, from conflicts, to war, corruption, bad leaders, and killings everywhere. Economy hardship in Africa, unemployment and underemployment. All of these occurrences are messing up people’s brain on a daily basis. We have seen increase in suicide rate across the globe.

In my country, Nigeria many people are still falling prey of Ponzi scheme. I was a victim of Ponzi scheme too, during MMM in 2015 which was launched in 2011 by Sergei Mavrodi, it was popular in my country then which was what introduced many African youths, bitcoin because was the major means of payment then, WHE 1 BTC was selling at $600.Loss of 12 billion Naira was recorded when the system folded up and many people went into depression while some committed suicide because of their loss despite all warning from the government. Though you can really blame everyone then because we are all looking for ways to survive. I HAVE LEARNT MY LESSON NOT TO PUT MY HARD EARN MONEY INTO ANYTHING PONZI OR WHATSOEVER THAT LOOK LIKE ONE AGAIN.

People should realize that if Ponzi system is a sustainable one, all banks with the cash in their vault would have invested their money in such system, but they knew the risk attached to it, that there is no product attached to such system. Because all banks borrow cash mostly from their respective country central bank account at a certain rate, in some countries @13% I think. Hundreds of Ponzi are launched on a daily basis across the globe. In 2019 I loss $35k that I earned from affiliate marketing, but the spirit of not giving up saved me and also thanks to Hive blog.

I have noticed the same pattern brewing in my country again, people want to get rich quick, and it does not work like. Whatever you do not work for can never last longer. People are already losing money to scammers, because they do not know the different between crypto trading, crypto investment and crypto savings. They do not also know that decentralised social platform like Hive which is currently the best can save them from all this scam. I think we all need to intensify cryptocurrency orientation in our respective community to save people from scam. This community has been of great help for me even in time of trouble and I have learn lots from great people here, and I have make more friends that I do physically.

Hive can solve most of our financial and mental stress problems if we are dedicated and consistent.
