IS PAYPAL SERIOUS ABOUT CRYPTO?
It has to start somewhere. Paypal has entered the world of crypto.
Just in couple of months they had the announcement and now it is full fledged
part of their back office. Everything with Paypal should be easy to do. I did give it a
try and like I said right before my eyes the transaction is done.
I am not sure if you can send it to another user yet. I need to play with the system more to see what are the tools they have available. It is a plus and with everything you read out there, crypto is the next gen currency of the world.
Now as you know, buying crypto from Paypal or coinbase or Gemini or any exchanges, you do
not have your own private keys. For newbies that should be okay to start. You do not want to
mess with private keys and lose everything in the long run. If you are a veteran, using Hive blockchain
for a while, you know the power of the blockchain. Definitely you want to possess your keys
and move your coins from any decentralized wallet at your disposal.
I have to say there is some good with the exchanges. They allow you to move tokens around and send tokens
to other people that way.
Paypal is offering more than bitcoin to start.
It is an eye opening for the world. I have not used Paypal in a while.
I will look deeper to see how I can use it for my everyday use.
So far I use Coinbase more and other exchanges to purchase #leo and #hive.
So far the world knows enough about crypto. Having more public companies endorsing crypto is the beginning to the end to make bitcoins out of reach. Thank God we have #leo, we have Hive and with the power of social media, it is hard to comprehend where we are heading. Paypal will bring more and more folks to hold bitcoin. I think they are following #cashapp marketing skills and they want to get pay. Everyone wants to get pay in the crypto world. Hopefully more public companies will follow their lead and raise the bar.
