I have to admit, while one of my recent posts made fun of their 100 days of Steem (curate for me and make me richer day), one of the last ones I saw wasn't bad (don't remember it as I'm not a Tronian), and I think it's smart for them to be engaging with the community daily now, something that should have been done if Ned had realized what the bird in hand was. Ned squandered the ability to be a billionaire if he could have seen it.

As for the SMT's, from a noobs perspective I found myself wondering what the need for them was once @Aggroed made his Steem engine poor mans version of an SMT. It would seem from my vantage to have fulfilled the role of an SMT, especially for any company that was financially solvent without using an SMT, and was using it to complement and grow their already established business.

It never escaped my notice that so many of the apps here are reliant on running through a reliance on the coin itself, which seems to not be a very good business plan. We need businesses that can/are profitable already. I've written posts on this before.

This next post discusses some of the ideas that really appealed to me for outside businesses.

As to Justin capitalizing on good news, lets not pretend his market cap is only high because he printed so damn many. People lose sight his coin is barely worth .01 each right now. He's only rich because he owns a gazillion of them and being so cheap poor fucks like myself who may dabble in crypto (especially day traders) will target his coin due to its low buy in (skin in the game).

I also credit him for one smart thing. Like Amazon does with both their self publishers (this used to be me with them) and third party merchants (this also used to be me), Amazon gets others to advertise their products on their site. Just in Indie publishing alone I wouldn't be surprised if billions are spent pointing customers to the Amazon site from the self publishers promotions. Been there, done that. Ingenius really. Hopefully some businesses will pop up on Hive that will offer a product that has people eager to do that for Hive.
