As I stood at the crossroads of uncertainty, I found myself staring at my big goal. For almost two years, I have been chasing the vision of my success on Hive that seemed just out of reach. But now, with each passing day, I felt things are starting to turn greatly in my favor. I smiled looking at my progress. What felt like a struggle is beginning to turn easy and the path I am threading on is becoming clearer to me. With my sense of purpose renewed and my determination, I was ready to take on the challenge that would lead me to the pinnacle of my goals.

This was a thought I had in mind when I started preparing this post last night. I was just remembering how I started on Hive almost two years ago and how it felt at first with me. Things were hard but I kept going believing that I would someday find my way here. It wasn't easy but here I am enjoying my past effort.

Sitting in my room while doing my dreemport task, this question came to my mind which isn't a new one, “how serious are you with your goals on Hive?”

My reason for this was my experience with some people in the past few days. I even had a funny but unserious being who kept coming to me asking if it was a good time to join Hive. This is someone who has always entered my DM to ask the same question since last year which I would answer and guide him.

I blocked him immediately when he came some days ago because I saw him as not being serious about coming here at all. He even confronted me sometime in January, this year as if I am the one in charge of Hive. He asked why was he not earning like others upon the number of content he had written.

I had to calm him down and explain how Hive works and that if he is only there for the money, then, he will always be disappointed and would give up. I asked for his username to check how his account was doing. To my amazement, this guy had only written two posts within 3 months he registered.

But I thought he said he has been writing and not earning. Where are his works? I smiled and was also vexed because it means this boy only lied to me while I took my time to explain things. I saw him as not being serious and for someone like him, he might only be here to write, earn and be eager to withdraw without any goal. This is the mentality of those who kept coming to me to teach them how to earn. They do not want to work but want to earn. Lol

I have been excited these weeks with my progress on Hive because it means I am working towards my goal. Seeing my HP increasing is giving me the momentum to keep going and never relenting because I also wish to have higher Hive Power to be able to give a good amount of Hive in return to posts and at the same time, increase my curation reward.

For now, I have 2300 Hive Power and my goal is to reach 5k by the end of this year. Is it possible? We shall see but I won't stop working hard and doing the right thing too.

Aside from building my Hive Power, I have my Leo goal too which I planned to never miss any LPUD for the year so that I would quickly reach my target. I participated in January and February and have gotten two badges already in this year.

I won last month's edition of the LPUD where I was delegated 20k Leo Power for three weeks and it helped my accumulation of liquid Leo.

I have 1600 Leo Power and 623 Liquid Leo. I will be powering up 500 Leo and altogether would make it 2100. Though my monthly Leogoals is 370, I felt increasing it every month will make the goal faster and easy to achieve.

Right now, all I want is to keep focusing on achieving my goal, both Hive and Leo Power, plus other second-layer tokens.

Are you participating in Lpud too? Don't forget to power up at least 150 Leo to earn a badge from Hivebuzz. There is still time to join as there are hours left at the time of posting this.
