For this month's edition of the LEO POWER UP DAY, I won't be slaying any dragon. Do you know why?

I am a new member and a little lion who is just joining the #lpud for the first time since I have been on Hive. So, on that note, I haven't started roaring louder like the BIG LIONS in the community. The dragons are strong and blood thirsty and came from the other side of the world according to @leogrowth and even if their sole aim is to exterminate us, I believe we have the LIONS who are ready to conquer both the elites and elders of the dragons. For this reason, a young lion like me would stay behind while cheering them up 😂 until I can stand fully on my feet.

In fact, for me to see myself as one, I mean a big lion, I should be having more than 500 LEO tokens and I will soon get there. _{Well, I made that requirement for myself and not from the Leogrowth page.}

Three weeks ago or so, I have gotten interested in this Leo community and have been actively reading, commenting and posting. It has been great since I got to be given Leo tokens.

Maybe it wasn't my time yet to be in this community until some weeks ago when I started giving more time reading different posts and to say the fact, I have learnt some amazing things like the Leoglossary that was created by @taskmaster4450le, the LEOFI, LEOthreads, LEOPEDIA etc. I took my time to go through these projects and they are awesome. I was able to add some knowledge to myself.

All thanks to a wonderful friend @merit.ahama who has also been carrying me along in the community because she is always there to give answers to questions about this community.

My excitement made me hurriedly power up yesterday (190 LEO) as I forgot that we are to power up on the 15th so as to be eligible for the Leo badge. It hurt me though because I was just too excited to be carried away.

I wasn't having any LP until I did the powering up which means I already staked some tokens to earn more through posting and curation.

Here is my first time powering up my LEO tokens that I bought from leodex through Hive-Engine.

I used another 30 swap.hive to purchase Leo tokens from the market yesterday (Leodex). It wasn't stressful after all as I found the process simple and easy to navigate.

After buying more from the market, I powered up another 180 Leo tokens on the 15th for me to be qualified for the badge. Altogether, I am having 370 LEO TOKENS that I powered up. It ain't bad after all.

I am so happy to join this amazing community on Hive because I have noticed that the Leo community is one of the strongest and growing communities in the Hive ecosystem. I really enjoy my time being spent using Leofinance.io and seeing updates on cryptocurrency keeps helping me to learn more and to be up to date with what is going on.

I have promised to keep joining this challenge every month till I am proud to be a big LION roaring in the jungle.

Little steps will definitely make a difference one day and that is what I am about to start doing. Staking my Leo tokens would give me more benefits like earning more Leo tokens when I post and curate other posts.
