Should I do these things for the money?

Truthfully speaking, money is good. It is when you go out and see how most people are flaunting wealth, spending lavishly and so on, would you think they did something illegal, but believe me, there is money. People are enjoying a luxurious life and just like I do tell people: it is because you haven't gotten hold of an amount of money that makes you think people are lavishing anyhow.

I realized if people are spending extravagantly on themselves, it is because they worked for it and they deserve to spend money. Who doesn't want to be wealthy? I say it again, money is good.

Then, it becomes stupid for someone to spend on unnecessary things when you have responsibilities to cater for. Someone who has family at home, and refuses to spend on them, but thinks spending on friends just to show off is good. It's unreasonable! So, when you spend money on good things even if it is expensive, go on, it's yours and not for anyone. Besides, what is the essence of having money and not spending it while you are alive? They will spend it in your absence when you are gone.

With these I am saying, there are some extreme people go to just to have money which I consider wrong way because sooner or later, one would regret. Something we should always look out for is our reputation. "What will people say of me?" "Will they say good things or the opposite about me?" For some, they don't mind as long as they could have this money.

Imagine someone being asked to put off her pants and bra in public for $50 and such a person would gladly do that. Why would she forget about her reputation over money that won't last forever? She will lavish the money and what next? She already has a stigma; "look at that lady who put off her pants and bra for $50 the other day..." That's a shame and disgrace to her already.

One million dollars is huge money for me to consider and do what I should never have done. Common, if you are opportune to lay your hands on such money, know that there would be different thoughts on how you'd spend the money: "How do I spend it?" "What should I do with it?" "Who should I spend on?" "Where should I travel to first?" etc.

For someone like me who is on Hive and looking for ways to build her Hive Power, become a powerful whale, create my community and start supporting people, don't you think I'd consider taking the offer? But what next? I have successfully dented my personality already because people might not remember the money again, what they will always remember is what I did to get that.

Just before I left the village last week, my dad came to discuss with me the night before I left, he talked about his desire to start up his project in the village but he has no money to start. Thinking about this money, don't you think I might consider doing the wrong things to help my Dad with his project? But no, I won't because it's something I will live to always remember especially seeing my Dad's project and knowing how the money came up. It will surely be the most regrettable thing for me which I will not forgive myself for.

We all like money and with my time in this life, I have seen people doing the unthinkable to make money. Something unthinkable like killing another fellow just to satisfy your urge in making money, trading human being, etc.

However; I wouldn't want to take on this mouthwatering opportunity, forgetting that I have an image to protect which is myself. There are some things I will and can never do to get this money.

Stealing: If someone should tell me there is a 100% possibility that I can lay my hands on that amount by carrying a gun and will not be caught, I will never do it. Yes, though I won't be caught, the dent is there already; "Princess stole the money she has now." I can't do it.

Money in exchange for my body: No one should bring up this idea because I won't even allow you to land before I refuse. It is not a new thing for some people since it's what they do, but if I am told there is a wealthy man who is ready to give me that amount just to sleep with him, it is a simple NO for me.

Lesbianism: So irritating! Please I am sorry if perhaps you are reading this post and you are one, but for me, it's something I hate. Why would I kiss or sleep with the same gender as mine because of that huge amount of money? Whatever irritates me, I can never go closer to it.

Murder: Those who kill in exchange of money are the worst being ever, and one shouldn't be found among them. They do not fit to live among human beings, but in the forest, because they are beasts already. Why would you think of slaughtering a fellow being just because of money? Is that not an height of wickedness? Should I then be called all these names in the quest for having a million dollars? I won't even give it a thought before I refuse to take the offer.

These, and many more are the things I can never do to have that money. Think of the illegal acts on this earth, I won't be involved at all.
