Poverty is political. It is not a technical problem, nor is it a mental illness to be treated.

The poor do not lack electricity because electrical technology does not exist and they do not have the necessary knowledge to carry it.

The poor do not lack clean water because clean water technologies do not exist and ways to get them water are unsolvable challenges.

The poor do not lack access to hospitals and good nurseries because the world lacks the knowledge on how to build hospitals and good nurseries.

The poor do not have access to a good education because the world does not have enough teachers and knowledge to build good schools.

The poor do not live in indecent "houses" because the world does not know how to build decent houses.

The poor do not have access to everything and more because someone had decided to deny them access, or an established system ensured that the poor were not welcome.

Poverty is a resource allocation problem. Poverty is more a matter of injustice, not a technical or mental problem.

70% of the African population live in villages and are farmers, but less than 15% of our state budget goes to the needs of rural areas.

63 people in the world have more wealth than the rest of humanity. That wealth only serves to help your little ego feel worthy of the praise and admiration of the poor. That's all.

Yet keeping so much wealth in few hands denies much access to human dignity.

NGO solutions to poverty are comical in every way. NGOs take money from those responsible for poverty around the world to tell the poor to calm down with a small well here because of water problems, a shitty school for poor children, a power generator just for the night lamp, manual sunlight, etc. Ultimately, they delay real and more permanent solutions and entertain the poor with empty hope.

Eventually, NGOs keep the poor poor.

Poverty is political. It is not a technical problem, nor is it a mental illness to be treated.

If you want to end poverty, you must go to the place where decisions are made about how to allocate the world's resources.

If you are poor or disadvantaged and avoid the policy for any reason, you have given up your right to upgrade. You are doomed because only politics can save you.

This is why everything possible is done to depoliticize the masses.

Not talking about politics is the new requirement.

Read and enjoy.
